05-2025 Skintique Day Spa in The Best 19 Hair Salon in Jackson, Amador Country Febes Barber & Beauty - Jackson Mark Manly: I have to admit I get a very straightforward no frills haircut.
Febe did an excellent job cutting my hair. She paid attention to removing my unwanted hair. Which I appreciate. It was like going back to my old barber. The experience was pleasant and enjoyable, I look forward to my next visit.
Razor blade cuts - Jackson Kevin Stefanescu: Abel is 5 stars. He takes his time, is good conversation, and takes utmost pride in his work. Im lucky to have found a barber like him up here in Amador.
Great Clips - Jackson Stefanie Turner: My stylist Scott Stuart did an amazing job with my hair. It’s definitely the best haircut I’ve had in years. I appreciated his attention to detail and the education he provided on how to easily style my hair for this busy mom and nurse!!

Capellis Hair Fashion Salon - Chico Denise Dykhouse: Been going here for over 25 years. Always a fabulous experience with top notch care and kindness. Cant say enough good things about Deborah Armstrong. Shes the best.
SOLO Salon Head Spa - Chico Fallyn Lozano: This was hands down the best curly girl haircut of my life. Alyssa is incredibly knowledgeable about curly hair and made me feel comfortable letting her do what she recommended. So thankful that I found her so I can embrace my curly hair.
Two22 Salon - Chico Sagar Fowler: So each time I have been in Chico over the last few years I have been frustrated with barbers. So this time I went for a salon, Natalie was the lovely lady that had time in her schedule to fit me in. When I walked in the aroma was very pleasant unlike so many salons, it felt roomy yet warm and comfortable. Nicely broken up to allow for privacy and function at each station. Natalie was an extremely interesting and proficient stylist who can carry on a conversation and make you feel welcome. After a nice smooth, gentle, cut off too the very comfortable wash basin. For what if it had lasted 5 more minutes would have put me to sleep, rinse and wash. When it was all done I couldnt believe she was only charging what a normal barber would charge. So many salons are double the price of a barber for a simple buzz cut. So I was more than happy to pay what was asked and more. When I am in Chico I will without doubt return the Two22 salon and to Natalie. I did only rate 4 stars because they were unable to help me with my facial waxing needs.
Wildflower Salon - Chico Teresa: I am so happy to have found Wildflower Salon. I had been seeking a stylist in Chico after making my permanent relocation here. I had parted company with my stylist in Yuba City because of a situation I felt was professionally unethical.
When I contacted Wildflower, I was preparing to make an emergency donation drive to Los Angeles to aid their fire victims. I was extremely short on time.
In the midst of hustling to get my supporters and my donations together, plus dealing with multiple safety and security services done on my Jeep, time was getting shorter, actually I was just a few days from ho time.
I had contacted a few other salons and received no return call. Finally, I was able to reach Allure and was connected to Mario. I thought I recognized his name, and then when he mentioned he used to work at a salon in Yuba City. I was certain he was who I thought he was. He had space, and we made an appointment. He told me I would receive a text confirming the appointment, then a reminder and another reminder, which I received. I replied appropriately by text or phone to them. The morning of the appointment, I called to be sure the address for Allure was accurate and to confirm I was on my way. I was told by a woman at the salon that I wasnt even on the books. She said she would contact Mario and have him contact me. He never did. I have no phone or message records to validate any effort to contact me.
So here I was, two days from a mad dash to the fire zone, overdo for an appointment, and quite disappointed.
This is where the sun shines on wildfire salon. I left a message with them asking if ANYBODY could find a spot to wash and style my hair within the next two days. I received a call from a young woman named Sunshine. She was able to book me. I am delighted to say that her name fits her persona. She did a fabulous job. We discussed coloring, belayage costs, etc, and I will be returning for those services. The salon is lovely. Rachel, the owner, is very grounded, and Sunshine is a vibrant, youthful, compassionate young woman.
808 & Co Hair & Beauty - Chico Sarah Bradley: If you have curly hair, I highly recommend going to Megan. I hadn’t had my hair cut in way too long and she brought my curls back to life. She listened to what I wanted and executed perfectly. :)
The Hair Company - Chico Emily Zimmerman: Ive been going to Amy for about 10 years and she is the only Nail tech I will ever see.
Shes very organized, always on time and her station is always impeccably clean.
The Salon itself is GORGEOUS and very clean. Jackie has a drink ready for me when I walk in...what more can you ask for!?
House of Krood - Hair Salon & Boutique - Chico KATIE DEL PERO: Wonderful Salon & Owner!! I have blond hair that is fine & breaks easily. But with Deborah she is able to make me very blond & my hair stronger. Hands down best place to go for color & haircare. Pretty great stuff to buy in the shop too. :)
