1 /5 K T: I received a terrible haircut by a stylist of the name of Anna or Annabel, but what has driven me to write this review is the horrid customer service I encountered by the "manager" named LIZ.
I didnt realize she was done cutting my hair and it still looked blunt and undone. She cuts a little more and I go and pay, with a tip making sure to be courteous of the time since it was 10 after closing.
I get home and my hair is COMPLETELY UNEVEN. Im disappointed that Annabel would allow me to leave with such a terrible, unsymmetrical cut.
I call the next day which is Monday morning asking to speak to Annabel but she is not in so I ask for the manager. I shared my story of how unhappy I was with my results and Liz says to come on in and shell take a look at my haircut.
I walk in and ask for Liz. I see she is finished with a client and suggest that she take care of him first while I wait. After patiently waiting, she wants to show me that my cut is even, and looks good. I told her exactly "my hair is uneven from the back and from the front". Liz continues to use a brush and touch my hair and shoulders without asking for consent, this woman has no boundaries! I told her "Can we decide to disagree, issue my refund so you can continue with business". Instead, Liz decides she wants to continue to argue and keep touching my hair to "show me that its a good haircut" and even had the courage to ask "Are you a professional? I am the expert, are YOU a professional?"
After I received my refund, I asked for my receipt back that clearly says customer copy. To my surprise, Liz withheld and refuse to give me back MY CUSTOMER COPY RECEIPT. I rightfully took what was mine from her hand and walked out. She yelled "Youre mean" before I walked out the door, I have dignity and composed myself by wishing her a great day.
This sort of customer service is highly inappropriate in all ways, I had a terrible cut and Im unhappy that Annabel didnt deliver her best and left me with a botched haircut. But the treatment I received from Liz continuing to argue with me in front of fellow stylists, and other clients, and crossing the line by continuing to touch my hair while waving the brush in my face to disagree with me by far the most appalling thing Ive encountered. Dont go to this $15 cut place, the $50 or $100 is worth it than this sorry excuse for an establishment.
A closer look at this unsymmetrical haircut by Annabelle, supervised by Liz Alcantar. The fellow colleagues (Stephanie Alcantar and Stephanie Valenzuela) who write reviews for the sole purpose of falsely claiming to be clients, check out the unacceptable, UNEVEN, BUTCHERED cut I received. As clearly shown, one side if significantly shorter than the other, and theres an almost 6-inch space between a layer as evident where I circled.
