FireStartR ForU: Looking for a great place to take the road less traveled? Try this park, it is fantastic. Plenty of sandy trails to take a casual walk or jog and no bicycles are allowed. Look at the map photo for the relative size and circular walking paths. The reason is that there are several medium-sized mounds with either stairs or a sand-covered trail. Please note that climbing the wooden stairs in the photo is safer than descending. Dogs are welcome; restrooms and picnic tables are near the entrance gate, and there is limited parking at no charge. If crowded, you can find nearby parking on the neighboring streets.

Darlin Mitch: We had an amazing time at the escape room in San Jose! A big shoutout to Sam, who made the experience even more memorable—she was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful from start to finish. Sam explained everything clearly, gave just the right amount of guidance when needed, and made us feel comfortable and excited to dive into the challenge. The room itself was well-designed, immersive, and packed with clever puzzles that kept us engaged and thinking. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned escape room enthusiast, this place is a must-visit—and if you’re lucky, you’ll get Sam as your game master. We’ll definitely be coming back for another round!

Monica: Love coming to this place! So quiet and serene. Dog friendly is a big plus. Not everyone has their dogs with them The trail I go on is coyote peak and ridge trail. That’s about 3.5 mile loop trail Lots of trail options. A good amount of parking even on weekends. Very good view of the city as well. Especially if you go to the top point on some of the trails, you get a 360 view

Kathleen Chen: $42.99/person. Easy parking in an industrial area. Waiting area, cool inside. Place to lock your belongings. They give you an extra 10 minutes to solve after the hour. They give you tons of clues. Not the easiest puzzles. Would recommend. Friendly staff. Guided through everything. Went through 4 rooms for pandemic zero.

Mark Harpur: Nice park with quite a few different play areas and plenty of benches and seating for adults. The only downside is the noise of the planes flying directly overhead, great for plane spotters though.

kaliador18: Feels forgotten. There are signs of a former grandeur, & the park is still lovely, green, shaded, & ready to welcome big families, while also offering plenty of quiet spots, for contemplation or romantic alone time (we interrupted at least 2 couples who were enjoying the solitude)—but it was almost entirely empty on a warm, sunny springtime Saturday afternoon! Despite the local library with which the park shares a parking lot being full of activity! The Chinese cultural artifacts feel mostly abandoned, but they still stand.

Malka Nagel: This park is very nice. It’s nice and open. Plenty of open space and different play areas. Places to sit and eat. Places to park in the street. Two bathrooms that are ok.
