1 /5 Sarah Foster: Nearly impossible to communicate with them as they are always at lunch, closed early, or the line is busy. They rarely listen to messages and do not respond to them. The doctor called 3 hours before our scheduled appointment time, and for the follow-up call, called 3 hours late. I waited about 5 weeks for a phone call with my exam results. My primary care doctor requested my test results and records in March (2 months after my procedure), and I sent in my own request in April. It is July and we still haven’t received anything, despite calling about it 3 or 4 times. When I had new symptoms and needed additional support, the doctor told me, “I don’t know what’s wrong and I don’t know how to help you, just wait it out,” and refused to do any further testing because “it takes too long to schedule.” The staff is kind and I’m sure doing their best in pandemic times, but the office is just chaos and the medical support is mediocre.
October edit to add: After waiting 2 months for a follow up call I was told I would receive within a week, I switched to see a new GI through UC Davis. I discovered a bunch of information this office put in my records that I was never told (key info about my health status!), and learned that some testing was performed incorrectly, and that I was given the wrong treatment for my autoimmune disease, which has left my health suffering for months. Avoid this office.
