5 /5 T H: I heard that SHIMA, a very famous hair salon in Japan, has opened in LA, and I’ve been interested in it. After checking their Instagram, I made a reservation without hesitation. Yuki is a very talented and skilled hairstylist! I had my hair cut and colored twice, and it was honestly the best salon experience I’ve ever had. Also, the head spa I received in a calm, private room was a truly relaxing and luxurious experience. Im already looking forward to my next visit.

So for the past 15 years, I have only been going to high end Japanese salons and have even gone to a few of them in Japan. To be completely frank, the first time I’ve been here, there are some bad stereotypes going on in my head. But once you get pass that stereotypes, you see real legends. Kaz is my stylist and he is easily the most skillful one I have ever been with. His attention to details is his second natural and is a perfectionist (which is the best trait for a stylist). Recommend him 10/10
