Shanuki Tillekeratne: Actually the worst haircut of my life. I told Darin I wanted a trim and he cut off so much of my hair and gave me SO many layers, no two pieces of my hair are the same length, honestly it looks ridiculous. My hair was long and I wanted 2 inches at most off and some random pieces of hair are at my ear, it’s so weird. He did whatever he wanted rather than what I asked for. Do not recommended.
Amy Schneider: Stylists was rude and haircut not what he asked for. We won’t be coming back. Would have made a huge difference if she had just acknowledged being 20 minutes late because they’d been busy and she went out to get lunch. You’re in the service industry. Just say something.
Joaquin Rivas: Ive been a customer for about 20 years now. It has been an excellent customer service always. This is not a barber shop, so dont expect to be in/out in 10 minutes. Quality over quantity. Also, if you want a long process, make an appointment.
Mo Rea: Got my hair cut by Phil this time. He’s always positive and humorous. I’m so happy they have maintained sanitation requirements after COVID and clean their stations between clients. Convenient parking and hours. I easily placed my appointment on their website same day. I have curly hair and they don’t shy away from it.
Ricardo Ibarra: This shop has won my loyalty for a couple reasons, I’ll start off with saying the energy of the shop is great. Good music is always playing, I always have a great conversation with the barbers, and the atmosphere isn’t too serious - it is a welcoming place. I have been to barbershops where everyone seems to cool for school where you’re not comfortable. This is not that shop, excited to bring my boy for his first haircut here!
Anyways, secondly Anthony has always given me an amazing haircut, super consistent and fast service. I rock a slick back so i always get a low fade to skin with a little off top to keep it tight and he just nails it every time.
Overall I have zero complaints, keep up the great work Wolf’s Head!
Andy Nguyen: I have searched for so long all over Goleta, Oxnard, and Santa Barbara for someone who can cut short to medium length, straight, stiff, male, Asian hair. I was aiming for an Asian undercut.
After trying out with SEVEN barbers and hairstylist-----I can confidently say that with Amanda my hunt is over and I am VERY happy with my hair!
I have referred already four people to Amanda of varying lengths, and they all love her as well! She is also very well loved by all of the UCSB students, especially the international students.
Not only is she a great barber but also friendly, exciting, and always is a highlight when I get my haircut. It is so good that I tipped 100%!
TJJ: Manetain offers a welcoming and enjoyable haircutting experience. I dropped in on Manetain on a weekday without an appointment. Ines was able to take me right away. My hair style is pretty simple, so Ines trimmed me up quick and I was on my way. The shop is bright, clean and welcoming. Ines was super friendly and did a great job. I will return to Manetain next time I’m in the area.
Benjamin Liu: I got a haircut from Alloy Z. today at the Ulta Beauty Salon and had a wonderful experience. They helped create a style from the references I showed them and were careful and thorough. The basic haircut is reasonably priced and also includes shampooing and blow drying. Overall Im delighted with my new look and highly recommend their salon for anyone who wants to look fabulous!
The Ulta store itself is good too, they have a wide selection of products like makeup, skincare, and hair care. I was happy to see a selection of high quality hair dye in fun colors like blue and purple.
Overall a good experience, the location is convenient as well with parking and other amenities like restaurants and stores nearby.
James Delahoussaye: One of the best haircuts I’ve had in idk how long. Super meticulous.
I’m just visiting for the weekend but I’d almost drive back just for another trim in the future. Also check out the great coffee shop and used bookstore close by.
