Shiri Gradek: Veronica has been my go-to esthetician for 13 years. She’s the best! I prefer that everything exist within 1 mile radius of my house, but I have even driven to Aptos from Santa Cruz for an appointment with Veronica on a Friday afternoon. If that is not a testament to how great i think she is, I don’t know what is.
Abraham Jason (Jason Abraham Photography): Had an amazing haircut/new look. I came in and had no idea what I wanted or needed and Jose took care of me. I had been rocking the man bun for years and wanted a low maintenance and professional look. He nailed it. Everyday this week I take no more than a few minutes after my shower to work with my hair, and have had so many compliments from people at work and friends in different social groups. Gotta trust the professionals at Get Faded Barbershop. This was my first time getting a fade or this style of haircut; so I was a little nervous at first. But I have been happy all week with this clean new look.
Chris Sterbenc: Our entire family has been going to Shear Joy for years. Joy and Carol are both lovely people and they do a great job with women, men and children. Cut, color, whatever you need, their work is impeccable.
Fiona: Taylor is simply amazing, I struggled with my hair for years before I found her and I have been thrilled with it ever since. She is so skilled and professional, and has an amazing talent for creating the style you envision, only better!! Every single time I have left her salon chair I have felt like my hair has never looked better. She makes the entire process delightful from start to finish. Taylor is an incredible artist, and I would recommend her to anyone!!
James Jones: Went for a haircut for the $60.00 price to shortened up and style my sons haircut. Not impressed at all. Just an FYI for all parents scheduling hair appointment be aware. No wash stations for this type of haircut very surprising . I could have went somewhere else and had better results. Elias was his barber. Trying not to be negative but you could have presented a decent haircut on top of my 20% tip. One more thing I observed, the other barber awaiting his next client was sitting there for 10 minutes not even thinking about cleaning up the previous clients hair off the ground. Will not be going there anytime soon and I am local who lives right down the street. Crazy
Sarah B: Geselle is truly the best. I came to her when I was having issues with another hair stylist and needed a color correction. She was so kind and worked with me to not only make sure I loved my hair but that it is as healthy as possible. I’ve been with her for over 6 months and I’m so happy. I always love getting to see her. Highly recommend!!
JNY CAT: Horrible haircut! Went in for a simple fade came out with... I dont even know what youd call it! They screwd my hair up royally. This place is awful and I really wish I was exagerating. Worst 20 bucks Ive ever spent! Stay away, far, far, away.. No Bueno
Beth Hecht: Im so thrilled with the color and cut I got from Julianne at Harlo! She is truly outstanding at her craft and I highly recommend her for all of your color and hair styling needs! The salon is very relaxing and Julianne is so sweet- I feel pampered and beautiful after every visit there!
Beverley Rabbitts: Ramona gives me by far the best haircuts Ive ever had in my life. Intuitively knows exactly what I want, whether I bring an exact picture or a rough idea. Efficient, quick, professional, welcoming, and a good price. I especially want to share with queer/LGBT folks that every time I go here its a super affirming experience. I can bring my dog (not for a cut!) and I once brought my nephew in for a cut too.
