4 /5 Blake Henderson: If you are new to the VA facility at Mather Field of Sacramento, it is a first class hospital providing excellent care to the veteran community in the area.
One clinic i have been seen recently was the Orthopedic Clinic and it falls under the Specialty category. It was easy to find because it was the only one without a building number. I was told that the number is in the works.
It was situated behind the hospital building 650 and simply labeled at the front entrance as Sacramento VA Center Consolidated Outpatient Surgical Specialty Clinic.
In particular, i was well cared for by PA-C Michelle Boskovich, the Orthopedic Injury professional, assisted by "Mike" the casting technician who also did a great job.
Then i had to go to the X-Ray Clinic by walking through the adjacent building 650. It was a great way for me to familiarize myself where the other clinics were located, such as Urology, Primary Care, and Pharmacy. The cleanliness of the place was impressive.
I did not see any sign that would direct me to the place where i wanted to go. So i ask the person at the Information Center who kindly directed me to go out of the door and across would be a 5-storey Main Hospital building where the X-Ray department would be.
The Radiology department that handles X-Ray was located on the first floor next to the main entrance. I was seen right away by a curteous technician.
