5 /5 Liz Simas: My lucky day was to meet Dr. Choi. I met her the day of my cancer diagnosis. She was compassionate yet direct. She answered ALL my questions and made staff available to contact should more questions arise (and they did). At one point when scheduling my surgery, I requested a timeframe and the response by staff was "Dr. Choi is going to want to do what you want to do." When my surgery day came, I had enough contact with her and her staff that I was totally comfortable and trusting that I had the right surgeon. She couldnt have been more COMPETENT, informative, caring, and professional. Sansum Clinic is lucky to have her on their team...and so am I.

My wife & I were concerned about some negative reviews, in our case, we were very pleased w/ Dr. Choi & Janine who has been coordinating the visits. Dr. Choi treated my wife w/ respect & made time to answer questions & concerns. Weve additionally have had a good experience w/ Dr Cotter the Radiology Oncologist.

After two other doctors told me my breast pain would resolve if I quit caffeine (lol) , Dr. Choi immediately realized something much more serious was going on and performed surgery on me the day I met her. She is kind, direct, compassionate and extremely skilled at her job. She performed multiple surgeries on me over the course of a few months and worked in conjunction with various other doctors to design an antibiotic treatment plan that got me healthy. I could not possibly say enough good things about this woman and wish she could be my PCP.
