    Diane Ramos: I wanted a golden blonde ombré balayage but she ended up giving me a brass ashy blonde look with very tiny highlights on the top of my head that almost looked like gray hairs. More than half of my hair was still my natural hair color even though I told her I wanted most of my hair to be blonde. But apparently they can’t do ombré because they’re not allowed to bleach the full bottom half of the hair which doesn’t make sense to me considering the pictures I showed her. There wasn’t much of a difference from my how my old hair was to when I left the salon the first time. I wasn’t satisfied at all so I went back to fix it but she just did the same thing with a different shade of blonde. I wanted a golden blonde, now it just looks like orange. The 2 front pieces of my hair look really orange and the rest of my hair doesn’t even look blonde. I am completely unsatisfied and will not recommend my friends to go there. I still tipped pretty good though. But she did not do a good job at all. Especially after showing her the pictures I wanted. I am very unsatisfied with how my hair turned out. The first 4 pics are how my hair ended up the first time. I wanted 8G for the toner. And the last picture is how my hair looks now. It’s horrible and now idk how to fix it.

    Nicole Hernandez: I went to get my hair dyed and cut at Magic Cut by hair stylist Erica on 02/26/2024. Long story short, she left me with the worst dye stains on my forehead (see attached images). I didn’t notice these dye stains at the time because I didn’t have my glasses on/wasn’t in front of a mirror (stylist had me in the shampoo bowl while dye was processing). I was hesitant to complain but eventually got in contact with the salon owner, Dalia Hanna, on 02/28/2024. We spoke over the phone and I explained what had happened. Dalia didn’t take any accountability and basically blamed me for the incident. She asked what would remedy the situation, which was strange to me because I felt as the owner, she should’ve willingly offered me a refund. If I was a salon owner and a client had walked out the way I did, I would’ve been mortified and offered a refund, no questions asked. I explained how badly the dye stained me and how it had irritated my skin (hoping she would willingly offer a refund), but eventually I asked for a refund and she begrudgingly agreed. Over texts, she kept insisting that she sent me the refund through Zelle. I was patient and gave her the benefit of the doubt, even though I saw nothing processed through my account. Eventually, I sent her a screenshot of my Zelle activity page that showed I hadn’t received any payment in the last 30 days. Instantly, she offered me a discount on future services that would amount to what I paid. I told her I wasn’t interested as I’m not comfortable receiving services from this salon after my experience. Her offering a discount and not providing proof that she sent the refund through Zelle (i.e. confirmation email), shows me that she lied about sending me the money/never actually sent the money like she said she did. After I declined the discount, she stopped answering my text messages/left me on read. I don’t like to complain or be unreasonable but I feel like this salon owner really took advantage of the fact that I’m young, thought she could simply say she sent me the money and that I would take her word for it. I’m also concerned with the lack of accountability. The dye had been left on my skin for almost an hour. My skin is “normal” and I never have bad reactions to skin/hair products. Since this incident, my skin is extremely dry and flaky where the dye had been in contact with my skin. I can only imagine the damage that could’ve been done on someone with more sensitive skin than mine.

She took her time and did not rush me through the appointment. I booked a new appointment before I left to come back and am looking forward to it!

I seriously have so much respect for her . I have also been witness to how the other stylists treat their customers.; they show nothing but professionalism, kindness, and courtesy.
