foster smith: So fun to visit the information center I had completed my college capstone course eradicating invasive species. Staff are always friendly and motivated to encourage the ecological prosperity of the dunes.
Stephan St. Claire-Méfret: The Totem pole before it was hit by lightning in late 2022? McKinleyville shopping center. I hope they refurbish it. Its and was beautiful.

Trending Nordic: This park gives some much needed green to the city. Theres a little pond with ducks and other birds. The Veterans Memorial is well maintained. The pathways are brick and perfect for walking or jogging. Overall a nice place.
Steve Perkio: We had a good visit for lunch.
RV parking is available across the side street.
The food was good,, maybe a bit slow, but at a comfortable pace.
Be advised, we had 7 people and had about an 18% (roughly) tip added to our bill with no warning that we saw in advance.
It may be on the menu and I just missed it though.
Kathy Strain: What a jewel of time past. We thoroughly enjoyed the history of this railroad depot. Not only do they have an engine train being restored, a passenger trolley that’s been restored, and as a bonus has a whole town with an amazing amount of antique treasures to view. A post office, barber shop, dentist and doctor offices, pharmacy, general store, school house, newspaper office with equipment, blacksmith shop and more. Each building has an abundance of tools of the trade and history.
If you are in the area it should be as a must see. This type of history is rarely found.
