06-2025 ONE 11 RANCH in Hight rate 10 location for tourist in Tracy, CA, USAMission Plaza - San Luis Obispo EriC B.: Mission Plaza offers a tranquil escape in the heart of the city. The lush gardens and shaded benches invite visitors to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. A central fountain provides a soothing focal point and adds to the plazas charm. Many community events are held here, making it a vibrant gathering place. Its a wonderful place to spend a quiet afternoon or meet with friends. Great place to visit.....
Fountain - San Luis Obispo Edward Allwein: I get so much nostalgia looking at this one bear, I’ve gone to church at the church behind this fountain many times. When I was young, I used to always play around it, and try to climb the three bears and jump onto the rock in the fountain. I hope this fountain stays here for years and years to come so that more people can have memories that last as long as mine did. Forever.
Jack House & Gardens - San Luis Obispo Evan King: We had a great docent as a guide. Walking into the house was like a Time Machine. Original furniture, artifacts ,and personal effects, just like the Jack family, were living there.
San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum - San Luis Obispo Chen Zheng: It is a small museum but is run by many passionate train lovers and we got to chat with some of them to learn about the history of the museum as well as their individual passions (e.g. the person who teaches kids about the train simulator is actually a train conductor). We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend families with kids who love trains to visit.
Just note they are not open everyday so check the schedule before you visit to avoid disappointment.
Cheng Park - San Luis Obispo gomarketingsuccess dotcom: There could be potential for this tiny chinese decor park in the middle of a city. I would thought this can pass as a tiny corner Japanese garden. Unfortunately, homeless clothing were on the bench and dirty water.
You only need 3-5 min to explore all.
Mitchell Park - San Luis Obispo Kevin B: Well kept park. A few homeless sometimes scattered about, but theres plenty of space. Nice green grass and shady areas, plus a play area for little kids that looks like it would be a lot of fun if I completely refuted adulthood (which I am still considering doing). Its spots like this that make SLO special, and we should all treat them with care.
