    1 /5 Daisy Amaral: I have been getting acrylic nails pretty regularly for years now and have not had an experience this poor in a very long time. I have a baby so it is difficult for me to make time for myself lately. I called Natalie’s Salon around 11:35 am to see if they had time for a full set before heading there. I had childcare for 1-2 hrs so I wanted to take advantage of that time. They told me that they did have time so I drove there getting there before 12pm. Once I got there, the question was do you want long nails or short (I already got a bad feeling with that question). I said I wanted short nails so they told me where to sit. Once I showed the nail tech that I wanted brown ombrĆ© chrome nails she immediately hesitated and said another nail tech would do the design. I noticed right away that she was not experienced but she was nice and I decided to give her a chance. An hour and a half later she was done with the application and by this time my patience was very thin. She’d cut me on almost every finger and had taken so long for the application I wanted to give up. I was fearing that I would not have enough time for a pedicure or even color change on my toes. Again, I tried my best to be patient and had been there so long already I just wanted my nails to be done. When I thought another nail tech would complete my design, they kept taking other clients and forced the tech in training to do my design. She tried many times and could not do the ombrĆ© effect on my nails. Another nail tech tried and it did not work out either. They kept trying to use a sponge but it was not blending well. I even asked if they had the airbrush which I’ve gotten in other salons but they ignored my request. In this day, what nail salon cannot do the ombrĆ© effect?! I should’ve walked out at this point with unfinished nails but I had invested so much time that I rarely get since having my baby, I really wanted nice nails. I decided to give up on the ombrĆ© since no one in the salon was able to help this tech in training and I told her to just do one whole solid color. Once she was done, I asked if she could add chrome on top and again she hesitated and called another tech to help with chrome. The nail tech that came to finish the chrome tried fixing some of the errors but I was not satisfied and they didn’t care if I was satisfied or not. TWO AND A HALF HOURS and $70 LATER I stormed out of there unhappy and sad that I was so stressed on the very little time I have to myself. Short, square basic acrylic nails should not take 2.5 hours long. I wish they would’ve told me they were busy so I wouldn’t have had such a bad experience. I uploaded photo of the ombrĆ© nails I requested and what I got in the end.

    1 /5 Kimberly Hernandez: Edited to add photos: $50 dip manicure last Friday (I’m posting these pictures on the very next Friday). 4 of my nails were chipped and 2 of them popped off in half. You can see that the shape of some of the nails is uneven. Thats because they started chipping off last week and I was filing them down to keep the chipping from getting worse. Well that obviously didn’t help much. I’ve been here 4 times and I was hoping the service would get better. The staff has a culture of rudeness. I’ve heard 5 of the nail techs on different days blame customers for mistakes that the tech actually made. Nail chipped? Your fault. Polish messed up mix-manicure? Your hit something with your nail. Forgot give your niece a full manicure? You forgot to remind me. Bad nail work? Must have been another tech. I’ve also seen several of them give dirty looks to clients who are specific about what they want. Then they immediately talk about them in Vietnamese. If you go, turn your Google translate on and interpret all of their conversations. You will be AMAZED. They do not respect your time, even when you have an appointment. Got my last and final dip manicure there less than 48 hour ago. Yesterday I had 3 chips on different nails and today another nail chipped.
    1 /5 Karen Rosselly: Unfortunately on Monday I went to this salon around 3:30 pm to get my hair done for my wedding day which is in 2 weeks, I asked the hairstylist that I want my hair to be a dimmensional brunette. Not having yellow-orangey highlights. Not coming back to this salon again. I wasted 150$ basically for nothing. I can’t even get my money back. Goodbye have a good day.

    JULIET BAYLOR: Ladybug is a no-go place for me. I can’t imagine that I came to remove my acrylic powder wrapped over my natural nails for $20. While I appreciate the effort put into trying different designs, I felt that the overall skill was average. I believe clearer communication could have improved the experience, as it seemed we were going back and forth on the design choices. I wanted to express my preferences, but it felt like my input was overlooked in favor of the stylists vision. In the end, I didn’t leave with the look I wanted, and it felt like I paid more than I should have.
