The hairdo was awful as well. It was all very poorly done and her unprofessional behavior very disappointing!I will NEVER go back nor will I refer anyone there.

1 /5 Michelle: Me and my cousin have been coming here for a while. Today, my aunt told the lady how she wanted my cousins hair, and told her she was going to the store. When the lady messed up, my cousin told her not to keep doing what she was doing, but the lady said “it’s what your mom wanted”. he insisted and insisted she still said no, and my cousin began to cry. My aunt came back, and walked in and was completely HORRIFIED with the results, they were extremely mad because the results weren’t even close to what we wanted. We have a party this upcoming weekend and my cousin is completely embarrassed with his haircut and he won’t be going.

Mrugesh Parekh: Rushing through the haircut and gave me a cut on the back. In the rush, they dont even clean up properly and just try to get you out ASAP. Also when paying, the lady tried to literally select the highest tip forcefully by herself, it should be my choice how much I want to tip but this is the first place where I saw the cashier trying to select the highest tip amount from your card. Would not go again.

They seemed to genuinely care about what I 7 my hair looked so much better when I left. Ill be going back next week to have them help me with my hair for NYE. Last note - I had seen Velez many times before but bypassed it because it said " barbershop" on the window but it is a full on salon for women too!

Jyotika Dwivedi: Ruined my hair and wasted my $130. Asked for brown to red brown shade. My hair is so artificially looking jet black. I hate it cause they failed to deliver the hair color. Mind you this is the store manager doing my hair. I thought I got the best person doing my hair after the other stylist made a huge deal out of my current hair color and my liking for the new color. I was told if I chose red brown it would fade and make me look clown red . Really!! I found that rude and insulting. When I confronted the manager saying my hair looks no way close to brown , he disagreed and headed me for checkout and then I was rushed out . Period! Rude service , they are supposed hair professionals!! Horrible experience. I just need my money back .

Ian Kim: Linda has NO BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF NAILS. This cost me 45 dollars!!!! I got there by 3:30, and it took her over an hour just to finish removing the stones. Of course, I didn’t have much time for color, so I just asked her to apply a clear polish, which only took 5 minutes. She kept insisting it didn’t take that long for the removal, but seriously, I came with my friend, and the lady just finished the removal at almost the same time my friend finished with her color and design. Then she charged me 45 dollars for this! This place was terrible. Normally, for stone removal, you should use a drill to shave off the edges, not forcing them off with tweezers and the fake nail. I’ve been to a lot of nail salons, but this lady was the worst. She doesn’t even know the basics. A total WASTE of my money, time, and energy.

Daryl C: Had my long, layered hair trimmed by 3" and had bangs added. Layers I had were maintained. For the price, its actually not bad and would go back here for trims or a basic haircut. Paid additional $15 + tip for a blowdry and having very long hair.

Gargi: Jackie is the best! I always come to her for dip nails. She is very gentle with your natural nails and cuticles, and the dip manicure looks as good on week 3 as it does on day 1. Furthermore Jackie is able to dip on super short nails as well, and the end result always looks excellent. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to take care of their natural nails and help them remain healthy and strong.
