My Mechanic - Rohnert Park (CA)

1 /5 Melissa Jones: Ive never been so disappointed with an experience at a mechanic. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday and they had it for 2 full days. There was no communication from them to keep me updated. I called them for an update at end of day Tuesday, and then again Wednesday end of day. They did a diagnostic and they got my check engine off. But I had several other issues that werent addressed at all! When I picked it up end of Wednesday I found out there is a 3% fee to use your DEBIT card! It was not discussed with me before hand and the service was over 300 bucks! Now my car is not starting after just having it in the shop 2 weeks ago! Ill never use this business again, and recommend you dont either.

5 /5 Sherie Private: My VW Atlas wouldn’t start in the morning. I called AAA and had a jump and was told I needed a new battery. I still had the original. I planned on buying one from AAA. He had one with him. After, he started to take out battery to replace, he realized he wasn’t “allowed” to replace this type of battery because it has all these extra electrical cords to it. (New kid first week working alone). He suggested I go to an AutoZone. I called AutoZone and spoke to Michael, the Manager. He too said he can not replace the battery. Advised me to purchase a battery there and take to mechanic. He recommended Xander. I picked up battery, however, was sold the wrong type for my vehicle. Xander kindly returns the battery for me and got the right one, installed it. My German car now had some issues with a blown fuse. So an easy battery replacement took over an hour and half. I felt really bad and helpless for Xander. But wanted to make sure I thanked him and personally recommend him for his thoughtfulness and help. Not very often you get someone to at the last minute drop what they are doing and help you out. I will be taking my business and my children’s vehicles to this business because of Xander. I hope the owner sees this review and gives him a raise. Thank you! I will see you soon but hopefully not to soon!

3 /5 Ryan Harris: I had my 5.0 towed in here when my alternator went out. The staff was generally pretty nice - I can’t recall the name of the African American gentleman who worked behind the desk, but he was absolutely awesome to work with. The reason I am taking off a couple of stars was because I had to badger them for any sort of information, and while I was sitting in the waiting room to pick up my car, one of the technicians kept revving my car unnecessarily to redline. Even the guy behind the desk was scratching his head at that.

1 /5 jamie ferrari: I brought my truck here for service and part of that service included getting lower control arms and an alignment. After the alignment was complete the truck was now pulling to the right. They said because they had just put in the lower control arms that might be the reason and it might straighten out on its own. They suggested that I drive it around for awhile and see if the alignment straightened out and if not they would do it again at no charge. I brought it back today and they refused to honor that. They should have fixed it that day. Never coming here again.
