Phillips House Museum - Arcata Christian Grand: This place is random and wonderful. The host was very informative and kind. I recommend checking it out and learning about some local history.
Manila Dunes - Travis Lee Morgan Jr: A wonderful day at the beach and a fun time with friends and family. The bathrooms and water fountain are always The Best so grateful for places for recreational activities thank you guys for keeping The place beautiful.
Mad River Beach County Park - Arcata Timoteo Boldton: There is a nice long walk for taking dogs on along the mad river to the mouth and then back along the beach. A favorite place for bonfires in the summer it does seem to be more windy than other local beaches, so dress accordingly.

Friends of the Dunes - Arcata foster smith: So fun to visit the information center I had completed my college capstone course eradicating invasive species. Staff are always friendly and motivated to encourage the ecological prosperity of the dunes.
McKinleyville Totem Pole - McKinleyville Stephan St. Claire-Méfret: The Totem pole before it was hit by lightning in late 2022? McKinleyville shopping center. I hope they refurbish it. Its and was beautiful.

Bucklin Park - El Centro Trending Nordic: This park gives some much needed green to the city. Theres a little pond with ducks and other birds. The Veterans Memorial is well maintained. The pathways are brick and perfect for walking or jogging. Overall a nice place.
