5 /5 Subir Das: It was such a beautiful experience spending a lazy Sunday afternoon in this amazing place! Roses of many varieties, colours and fragrances fill up different parts of the park and a walk through the park takes you into another world. The plants are very well maintained and one does not stop getting enchanted with the different colours of roses with their distinct fragrances, shapes and sizes. An ideal place to take in the beauty of nature with family or friends. One can have a picnic in the shade or under the Sun as you please. Clean toilets and provision of drinking water adds to the convenience. It has a free entrance from all sides of the park and there is a playground on one side. Parking is available on the roads on all sides and clean toilets and provision of drinking water in the park add to the convenience. A place not to be missed if you are visiting San Jose in the spring season!

4 /5 Joe Pro: My wifes choice for Mothers Day was to go to the San Jose Rose Garden. This was our second time visiting the Rose Garden. The roses are beautiful, with a lot of variety of different roses. Our daughters enjoyed the rose garden. It was definitely a nice visit before heading off to our Mothers Day Dinner... 5 /5 AQ C: Such a small but elegant rose garden! The roses are so pretty! A great place for family gatherings and couple dating. Parking is also easy, we can easily find available road parking spots outside the garden. There’s also a public toilet in the garden which is very convenient.

5 /5 Manu Khandelwal: Best roses ever seen! Most beautiful colors and largest sizes of roses, name any rainbow color and youll find it in the roses in this garden, except green is the leaves. What was most beautiful to see was the foot long multi color roses. Absolutely gorgeous. Must visit in the last week of April or first week of May.

5 /5 Zsuzsanna Sziveri: Stopped by during lunch hours for a quick visit (April 21st). The roses just started blooming, but they were absolutely beautiful. The park has plenty of picnic areas, shades and areas to play ball games. Public toilets available, free to visit, plenty of parking on the neighboring streets. Perfect spot for taking family photos.

Ruchita Uttarwar: As a nearby resident, I finally visited this park today and wondered why I hadn’t come sooner. The grounds are impeccably clean, very safe, and beautifully maintained. Dogs on leashes are welcome, and admission to both the main park and the Japanese garden is free. Although I was initially hesitant because of concerns about safety but rangers patrol the entire area to ensure everyone’s safety—and I didn’t encounter a single issue. I highly recommend this spot for a lovely walk or a family picnic.

Lucas Ward: Useless eyesore parked in downtown. Built long enough ago that the "grass" made plywood and green paint is rotting Havent seen anything happen here since it was built. Waste of space

Shamrock W: Excellent county park. The trails r well-maintained. Many of the trails are paved and quite wide. There are trails for all levels. There are a mix of shaded and exposed trails. Some nice open views.

Californias Great America - Santa Clara

sbgroppi: We had a great time at Great America. The park was very clean, lots of fresh paint on the rides and buildings. Restrooms were nice and clean. I would recommend this park to others. Not much has changed over the years, which makes this place very nostalgic in my opinion. Plenty of shade, grass, and places to sit. The landscaping was very well groomed and beautiful. Parking is close, no need for a long trolley ride, like other parks. Pizza and bread sticks were good. soda fountains were placed throughout the park. Fun for all ages, thats for sure.

St James Park - San Jose

Red M & M: I go here to pass out food, water, and clothing to those in need and that are living at the park. Its pretty safe during daytime hours. Sometimes, theres action, but its normal. Lol. The people are appreciative for the most part. If they dont want something, theyll let you know.

Japanese American Museum of San Jose - San Jose

Bruce S.: Wow, the Japanese American Museum is amazing. Though its not huge, theres a lot to see. Theres information and photos from J-town in the past. The 442nd regimental combat team with their motto "Go For Broke". They were the most decorated combat team in WWll. They rescued "The Lost Battalion" from Texas. Theres a lot of information and photos from the internment of Japanese Americans, including a replica of an internment barrack. There was also a Kimono exhibit when I went, but I think that the exhibit is over now. Theres also a section on Redress with information and photos. It was very touching to tour the museum and Id recommend that you visit the museum!!
