After years of cutting my own hair, bad haircuts etc., it has been a relief to find Mo. The environment at Motown is always relaxed and fun. Cuts are reasonably priced and I have never left feeling scammed/hustled/disregarded. I love Motown so much that even after moving to SF, I still drive to his shop in Davis for a cut. 10/10 would recommend

Lolo M: Nice people. My nails came out pretty nice, but it could have been better. I has asked for my middles nails with glitter lile an ombre, however it was more like half with glitter and half without. My lady also used her finger to wipe off some of the glitter off which meant that she had to layer the glitter even more. A couple of my nails ended a little uneven, but you cant tell too much. She did take her time and was careful with her work.

She Reigns: My boyfriend treated us to mani/pedi service for Valentines and the overall experience felt welcoming and lovely. They had piano music playing in the background that supported the experience and the manicurists were very attentive to not just the service, but us as people engaging in conversation the whole time. Im not sure about price because I didnt pay for it and they did offer quite a few upgrades which I wasnt sure if it was a kind suggestion or attempt to upgrade the service. I would return overall it was a loving self care experience

Very rare can I find someone who understands my hair and cuts it correctly. Her rates are extremely reasonable, especially for the quality of work she does. So thankful I found her. Sophia Chau: I have been getting my hair cut by Roseann for the last year and I am so happy with my experience! The first time I came in, I wanted to get my long hair cut to a pixie cut. I was nervous but Roseann listened carefully to what I had in mind and reassured me that it would go well with my face shape. She cut my hair in stages and checked in with me after each step to see how I wanted to proceed. She also suggested some hair products for styling my new look, which I really appreciated. Ive been coming in every month or so to get my hair trimmed and I look forward to it every time. Roseann is attentive and so good at cutting my hair! I dont think I could ever trust anyone else as much as her with my hair. Thank you, Roseann!
