5 /5 Pamela Simon: We were in a tough situation with a hospital bill. Marina Ruiz went above and beyond what we expected and helped us to resolve the issue. Also, everytime I bring my aunt to the ER/hospital ALL the staff are wonderful. The growth of Modoc Medical is such a blessing for the whole community.

3 /5 Darrin Corson: Positive: E.R care was good, fast, friendly, and professional. Negative: Administration services suck. Nothing was forwarded. No communication to the V.A. I was billed for things that were supposed to be sent to my insurance.

1 /5 X: So many people I know have had issues here. Just go out of town instead. I waited for a specialist for a couples months and when I finally went in, they scheduled me with the wrong doctor, when the referral letter had clearly written out which doctor I was supposed to see. They scheduled me wrong twice, and a third time I waited to see the same specialist, they overbooked her and she couldnt see me in time. Another primary care provider I used to see here also refused to really do anything to help my other physical ailments because "its probably just anxiety youll get over it." The billing department is a separate issue as they never sent me invoices for past appointments that my insurance did not cover. I found a collections notice in the mail and I immediately paid them. Years went by and they never reported it as paid until it finally fell off my credit naturally.

3 /5 Loralyn Darnell: I am changing this to three stars because they did not forward any test results to my doctor and I had a disease that can kill me quick. I called on Monday when I found out my doctor didnt have anything from the hospital and no return call so I called again today, four days later. These are peoples lives youre messing with. You had better do a better job in the office or you are going to kill someone. 22 days after the er visit and nothing to my doctor. Follow through and do your job. Having been rather sickly my whole life and a klutzy adventurer, Ive had to visit a few hospitals over the years and this place was by far one of the best ER experiences Ive ever had and I cant thank them or praise them enough for figuring out what was going on. Dr. Perera is one of the brightest and thorough doctors Ive seen and everyone there were so kind and so patient. Attentive as well. I really dont understand the bad reviews of this place because, like I said, Ive visited a quite a few hospitals (cancer was worth a bunch) and this was one of two best experiences.

1 /5 Sarah Lyon: I took my mom in this morning because she was really sick. They have done great with her. But I cant get ahold of the emergency department to see what is going on with her. I was told by the Dr that she was going to be flown out. He did not tell me what is wrong with her. My only concern is trying to figure out what is happening to my mother and I cant get any answers.
