1 /5 Jennifer Wilson: I have tried hard to work with the team here, meeting twice with the office manager and documenting my concerns, in writing, over incredibly long hold times and multiple medication mishaps. Twice I needed medication that was not filled or refilled in a timely manner. The pharmacy sent an electronic reminder and faxed a switch to the medication the doctor prescribed (not a prior auth). No one at the office reviewed the fax. I had no medication over the weekend with active pneumonia (I also called the office on Friday asking for the medication order to be prioritized). The only way I was able to get attention was to go to the office, Monday am, and beg to be seen, beg for my medication to the back up office manager.
The second instance the doctor was alerted by the pharmacy that my prescription needed a refill, it took 8 days for the refill by the doctor, even when the medical assistance told me she added an urgent reminder for the doctor and refill. I called the back office staff for help and was told no other doctor could act as a stand-in to refill the medication.
