4 /5 Brian Skuletich: This event is an absolute blast, especially for first-timers. Seeing how fast these cars are in person is truly incredible. The course is massive, and unless you have grandstand seats, a suite, or a box, it can be tough to find a comfortable spot to view the race. We purchased general admission tickets along with paddock passes, which really elevated the experience and made it worthwhile. The biggest downside, as usual, was the parking. I highly recommend skipping the venue’s parking and park in a nearby garage instead, which costs around $20. Youll have to walk, but not as far as I had to with official race parking, I had to hike nearly a mile (about 15 minutes) just to reach the closest GA entry. Aside from parking, I highly recommend.

4 /5 Cesar Gtz: It was a bit difficult to find our seats. The signs are not very clear and employees sent me in a circle. The race was awesome and the crowd was great. Beer and food vendors were fairly close to the seats. Great experience overall.

5 /5 Dave Wong: Free Fridays are always good. Look for tickets in the Orange County newspaper or and LongBeach City College. Awesome drifting competition and party after 5PM when the life expo closes down and chase people out of the convention center. Park on 5th street or take the rail in to save on the parking which is pretty costly.

5 /5 Anthony David: While we had VIP tickets, parking seemed very unorganized and a lot of the employees directing traffic were all seasonal - no one seemed to be in sync with each other and were dedicated to their specific zone to “patrol”. Other than that we came for the races and drinks - good time just was a mission to park on the opposite side where we were supposed to be. Unless your a diehard fan - bring a hat and some shades if your in the stands, no shade and if you are bringing any young ones recommend bringing some earmuffs.

Deval Shah: went during afternoon time on a monday so it was very peaceful. barely any water in some part of the pond but its understandable in the drought. birds were all around the park doing their own thing untill a lady came to feed them bread. DO NOT FEED the birds. bread is really bad for them. saw at least 6-7 difference species of birds. plenty of parking

Wrigley Mansion - Pasadena

Gary Standke: Open for tours again. You do need to reserve online. Free parking along the streets nearby. The tour starts on time with a video presentation of the history of the house and the Tournament of roses Parade. Then you tour all the rooms on the first and second floor. There is a basement and attic which are not open to tour as they are just storage at this time. Our guide was great and the entire tour lasted 2 hours. You learn about the region from the early 1800s to present . Great furniture, architectural elements, trophies, jewelry, etc. The rose garden outside is fantastic and is always open to view without going on a tour.

Stephanie A. Miller: Very, very impressive home, very well preserved. Tour guide was excellent, very well trained and passionate about this Art & Crafts gem. It is rather dark in certain areas, but the guide uses a flash light. The gardens are really special as well. The garage has special design elements as well, and currently used as offices, public rest rooms & staff offices. If you love fine wood working, it’s a must-see! Buy tickets ahead of time.

USC Pacific Asia Museum - Pasadena

Arturo Camacho: The art displayed here is awesome. They really display the process, and the pieces there are amazing. Its a small museum but it does have a lot on display, which I loved.

Pasadena Museum of History - Pasadena

Shawn Sheng: The museum is pretty boring, not much to see. But the garden in the back was surprisingly beautiful. Might be better going on a day with a docent and some event, because I just walked in and there were just some pictures. Nothing special. The exterior is very aesthetic and was the only thing that made the trip worth it.

Carlo R. Carranza: The Central Park in Pasadena is a great spot. I love the open green space, the shady trees, the play ground and the relaxing vibe. It’s perfect for a picnic, walk, or just sitting on a bench to unwind. Definitely a nice place to visit while in the city!
