5 /5 Elaine G: It was a short and easy hike, mostly about exploring interesting rock formations and expansive views. I liked that the rocks were grippy, like sandpaper so they were easy to walk on and climb. Its a great spot to enjoy lunch or some snacks and take in the view.

5 /5 Super Sweet Jane: If you’re looking for something to do for a couple hours, here is the place. The entrance is not easy to find. GPS (Google map or Apple map) will not take you to the entrance. It’ll tell you you’ve arrived but you’re still in the middle of the road. Just keep driving up. You’ll start seeing views of rocks. The entrance is on the left but the sign is not curbside. If you reach the gun club, you go too far and must turn around. When you drive down, just keep looking on the right (not far from the gun club) and it’ll see the sign. The sign is easier to spot when driving down than driving up. Parking is off street and there are a couple areas with large space that could park a few cars. Just park in those areas and walk to the entrance. With a short hike (only minutes), you’ll reach the rock area like a vista point with beautiful view of Santa Barbara and the Pacific Ocean. You can climb around the rocks but be careful because it can be slippery with gravels. Wear sport shoes or Keen-like shoes for easy climbing. Also bring a light jacket or a windbreaker because it’s windy. Wear a hat, put on sun screen, bring water & snacks and enjoy the day.

5 /5 Michael Powell: Nice spot to overlook the ocean and get a view of Channel Islands and Santa Barbara area. Some graffiti on the rocks and there are 2 shooting ranges in close proximity to hike. Maybe hundreds of years from now - people will discover these artifacts and find them interesting.

5 /5 Jonathan P.: If you enjoy exploring around rocks, in small caves, rock scrambling or rock climbing, this park is always worth a visit. You can spend all day hiking and bouldering until your heart is content, and for serious climbers, there are multiple locations for belaying, rappelling, and some free climbing. Views of all of Goleta and Santa Barbara are below, as you enjoy the varied and challenging terrain. Easy trails for hikes and kids, and more challenging routes for scrambling allow all skill levels to enjoy this beautiful rocky place. Lizards Mouth Rock is the main attraction here, but there is plenty more to see.
