    South Coast Railroad Museum
W H: The nice railroad museum in Goleta! The whole park is well organized and clean. You can have a ride on the small train. Children are free, and for adults and $2.5 for a ride. The ticket prices are reasonable and you can learn more about the train! It’s fun.

Terry Fisk: Lovely, shady park with stands of redwood trees. Great place to walk your dog.

    Lake Los Carneros Park
Kevin C: This small lake is an absolute gem, perfect for a quick escape into nature. The walking loop around the lake is well-maintained and offers a serene stroll with lovely scenery at every turn. Ducks and various other birds are plentiful, adding life and charm to the experience. It’s dog friendly - dogs must stay on leash. Your furry friend will love it and the trail around the back of the lake is a really nice natural path that winds its way back in a loop. It’s the perfect little outing to refresh your mind and connect with nature. Highly recommend!

Fatih Koleoglu: Such a beautiful and relaxing park with incredible ocean views! Perfect spot for a peaceful walk, picnic, or just to enjoy the fresh air and scenery. The park is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of open space and benches to sit and take in the views. A must-visit when in Santa Barbara!

Tracy Payn: What a great beach. They have a campground. It was very clean. You can fish, surf, swim, etc. We had a great time.
Arroyo Hondo Vista Point - Goleta
    Arroyo Hondo Vista Point
Elena Roche: A nice little surprise, this stop has big history boards that explain the area and telescopes for a closer look at the islands as well as the bridge and railway. This stop is being used as a rest stop by travelers, though there are no bathrooms. The train passed by when we were there. And if you plan on stopping here and studying everything, allow about half an hour.
    Girsh Park - Goleta
    Girsh Park
Jamie Rosenthal: This is an okay park. When it first opened many years ago it was much nicer. one could walk the entire park and enjoy a lovely open area. Today large amounts of the park are fenced off for soccer games. If there are no games, these areas remain locked away and cannot be used by park visitors. All the fences, empty areas, and locks give an unfriendly atmosphere. Its a disappointing use of space for the general public. It can be difficult to even take a walk around the park due to fencing and no access. The fields at times may flood. Generally at least one of the restrooms is open for use and there are some picnic tables, a playground, and basketball hoops. There is a nice area along the creek reserved for nature. Parking is generally available. Would like to see the park opened up so the public can better enjoy it for informal recreation, picnics, family gatherings, dog walking and other friendly activities.
