We are not from the Shasta area but were competing in a dairy goat show there.
As we approached the fairgrounds we saw massive smoke coming from the back of our truck.
On inspection we found both the back of the truck and horse trailer COVERED in oil.
It was a Saturday and everyone told us no auto shops in all of Shasta County were open on the weekends.
It was looking like we would need to sleep with our goats in our truck until Monday when the shops open.
Finally someone told us about Joe. He was on another job but said he could come out that afternoon.
Joe arrived that afternoon shortly before our goat show ended and climbed right into the engine.
Very quickly he found an O ring had failed on the engine. Amazingly, he had a new one with him and he installed in no time.
We were able to head home without any delay and he charged WAY, WAY less than we were expecting.
Our thanks to Joe, his knowledge and ability! If I lived in that area I would for sure add his phone number into my phone to call if I needed help.
