5 /5 Natasha Hamo: Ivy Nails Spa is my official go to spot for the best mani in the OC! First thing to know: make an appointment! They are booked and busy, honey! Use the number they have on Yelp and send them a text to book an appointment at least two weeks out. They were always busy but they recently became even more busy thanks to a TikTok from a loyal client that went viral. Why is Ivy Nails so special? I’ll list why: 1. When I was booking my appointment via text, they were always so friendly, kind and pleasant to speak with. 2. They are JUST as sweet in person as they are via text. 3. They are incredibly talented. Look at my nails! They are artists and do any trendy or current design, as well as all the classics. 4. Their prices are amazing, so I’m glad they’re getting all the extra love! 5. There is a cash discount. 6. Hygiene is great here and they take a lot of pride in their work! I had a removal of gel x and a new gel x set today. When I came in, I was immediately ushered over to the mani station in the back. The pedi stations are in the front. I was helped by Queen Ivy herself!!! I felt like I was meeting a celebrity! Ivy was incredible. She listened to my requests and had the reference picture I sent her. My gel x removal was gentle, and when it was time for the gel x, I was surprised by how much care and love went into filing and shaping my new set. She perfectly matched the short, rounded almond shape I requested. When curing initially, she let me move my hand if it was too hot - I appreciated her kindness! The tie dye effect was accomplished through eyeshadows which was so cool to watch! She did a beautiful job and is such an artist. I am so excited thinking about which nails I’m going to get next, because Ivy does such a fantastic job! Also, they put on movies so you have something to do during your appointment. I caught the end of Crazy Rich Asians, which I love, and they told me they let their customers pick shows out too. I felt so comfortable at the salon and had such a nice experience! My removal, the new set, and nail art all cost $60 in cash. Tip them well! We’re lucky we get to experience such a nice salon and artistry! THANK YOU IVY & FAM! I cannot wait to come back!
