The view from the trails was amazing, and it’s a perfect spot for photos and taking in the beauty of Los Angeles. A must-see if you’re visiting Hollywood!

We hiked up one of the trails and the views were absolutely worth it — you get a stunning panorama of the city and a close-up look at the sign. It’s a bit of a workout, so bring water and wear good shoes, but the photo ops and the vibe are unbeatable. Definitely a must-do if you’re visiting LA!

5 /5 Kristina Garrido: Hike is LONG. We parked past Griffith observatory and our hike took us four hours!! But it is gorgeous being able to be up that high and see the Hollywood sign. If you come on a holiday, come early. It got jam packed for us around noon on Memorial Day Weekend.

5 /5 Asha Shibu: If you’re up looking for a relatively easy way to see the hollywood sign it I’d recommend taking the hike via Insdale Drive. Check all trails for accurate information. Parking wasn’t that hard to find but make sure you don’t park at the red lines. We saw a mustang getting towed on our way back. Trail was a bit dry but not very crowded.
