04-2025 Helen Nails & Skin Care in Top 21 Reviews Nail and Spa Fremont, CA new updateLittle Bird Nail Bar - Hayward Ashley Keener: I had high hopes for this place since it had good reviews, but want to warn others to CHECK THE PRICE FOR SERVICES PRIOR TO YOUR SERVICE! When we went to pay the lady at the counter gave me a total and no breakdown. I asked her if she could break down the costs for us and she seemed hesitant which made me feel like I was being overcharged. I was already feeling a type of way because I had a bad encounter with my pedicure. She broke it down on a post it note(shown in pic) andseemed hesitant to give me a menu so my fiancĂ© had to go and grab one so I could compare prices. I asked why my fiancĂ©s manicure was $50 instead of $45. She said it was because he asked for a longer massage. I sat right next to him and told her he did not so she agreed to âdiscountâ it the $5. Then we went over my full set and I asked why my full set was being charged $75 instead of $65. She told me that it was because my nails were really long. I showed both her and the lady who did my nails that I definitely did not have long nails(photo attached). They then proceeded to tell me that the gel full set is $55 and the ombrĂ© is $20 more. I asked why there was an ombrĂ© cost for $65 under the gel cost and how that was different than what I got. The lady then proceeded to tell me they just changed their prices but did not change it on the menu yet. So I was given a false reason for the $5 charge for a manicure and THREE different explanations for a $10 overcharge on my full set. It was very shady and I now know I need to always ask for a breakdown when I go anywhere because of the way I was treated here. In regard to the services, my fiancĂ© was happy with his manicure and pedicure. I was also happy with my full set. My pedicure on the other hand I was not pleased with. ESPECIALLY it being an $80 pedicure. I first asked if she could apply acrylic on my big toenail since I previously broke that toe and the nail was messed up. I told her I wanted it to match the other big toe nail. She added so much acrylic and made it so wide on the sides. It was drastically bigger than my other big toe. I asked if she could file it and you could tell she was annoyed. It got to the point where the lady doing my full set had to step in and fix my toe. We ended up doing the other big toe with acrylic since it was so much bigger and it was $10 to do the two acrylic nails. I told her I wanted square nails as long as she could make all my toe nails square. She just made my big toes square and did not file the rest. (See pics of my toes) At this point I was over it and decided I would file my nails and fix it myself because she had such a negative attitude when I was asking her to fix it. All in all, 3 of the 4 services were good. BUT the interaction at the end during payment is reason enough for me to never return. Please at least do your due diligence to make sure you are being charged correctly.
Fairy Nails Lounge - FREE GIFT with services $35 - Hayward Kristina valencia: I came here for the first time because I seen the google reviews and they were good. My first impression of the place is it is clean with alot of seating and very welcoming and kind workers. I was greeted and asked what I came in for. I was seated instantly and showed the picture of what I wanted. Helen was my nail tech. She was so nice and recommended me to get gel x because I wanted acrylic me being my old-school self.. I decided to take her advise and Im so happy I did. My nails have never looked this beautiful and feel so light. I will be coming here regularly. Thank you Helen for your kindness and work. I am glad I gave this salon a try.
Lux Nails & Spa - Hayward Yasmeen Hussain: I came here for the first time to just have a pedicure done. The woman who did my pedicure was amazing. I think she goes by Cindy. Disappointed their basic pedicure doesnt include lotion because all pedicures should. What I was more amazed by was a customer who walked in to have her nail fixed from getting a pedicure previously a few days ago. They fixed it free of charge and were even willing to completely redo all her toe nails because she couldnt remember the matching color. Luckily they were able to find the matching color. The woman who came in was very particular and a bit quirky so her personality may come off as being difficult, although she was very polite. Staff was very nice and accommodating to her.
Aria Nail Bar - Hayward Briana Banks: This was my first time here at Aria Nails. I found the establishment on TikTok. Greeted at the front, staff were inviting. I came in for a pedicure. Iâm a French girlie, so thatâs the route I went! Tee did my pedi and she was awesome. She took her time, was very gentle , friendly and she also made sure I was satisfied with my base color. The shop was also clean annd aesthetically pleasing. I will definitely be back. Thank you Tee.
Lavish Nails Spa - Hayward Keda Williams: I am a new customer who just moved to the Hayward area from Richmond and this was the closest nail shop to my apartment. I called to make an appointment for a pedicure upon arrival. Tran was very kind sweet and nice and did amazing job on my pedicure, this will be my new favorite shop and I canât see myself going anywhere else honestly, one of the best service Iâve ever had in a long time. Thank you for the awesome job you did and youâll see me soon. I see from the reviews about pricing honestly to me her prices are very reasonable compared to other shops that Iâve seen or heard from my female friends how much theyâre paying for a simple pedicure you canât beat
if you want GEL have to remember yesterdayâs price isnât todayâs price weâre in inflation at the moment so everyone has to slightly rise prices to make ends meet but itâs worth that extra. I promise youâll leave happy

Long Nails & Spa - Hayward Alondra Carranza: I came to this place because my friend recommended it , and because the reviews have beautiful nails, but the person that did my nails rushed and was harsh they need to focus on the person theyâre doing nails to not the Next person coming in , my PLUS is that I didnât get CUTICLE OIL after my nails were done , you can see in the picture how dry and messed up they are. And they charged me 60$
Queen Nails & Spa - Hayward Sonnye Bettencourt: I had a wonderful experience here! Joanne took care of me. Shes really a great nail artist!
I called them before they were open the day before my wedding and they answered! I told them I needed a really good nail artist because a different shop did a terrible job on my wedding nails after I left in tears the day prior. She told me to come in now. I made my way right over and Joann is who helped me. She asked for a reference photo, did exactly what I asked for and went above and beyond by even adding in some bling. I absolutely loved her artistry and will be back!
Oh My Nails - Hayward Adriana Rodriguez: I went in to get my nails done a while ago and the girl who did them said I needed a new set when I asked for a fill. I wanted to know why I needed a new set when I had just gotten a new set the previous time I went.
The girl begins to do my fill but starts huffing and puffing when she drills at the previous 3D art. I said ok you know what if you think I need a new set I will take it. The attitude was horrible until that point. She made me feel extremely uncomfortable to even make any requests. These are MY nails. IM PAYING YOU to do them. These are not your nails and this is not your money. If you think my request is stupid or unreasonable thats fine but dont huff and puff like a child over a service youre offering. Thats unprofessional, distasteful, and ghetto. She could have just explained to me (without an attitude) why she couldnt fulfill the service requested.
Once my nails were finished I even tipped $15 which people might think Im crazy. But thats about how much I tip for a job well done (the nails came out really good) and this was in exchange for me never going back. I always tip at the very least $10. I will be taking my $10 tips back to Dublin and Oh My Nails in Hayward will never see me again.
Next time keep your workers in check. If you see your worker/coworker with an attitude make sure to remind them you are there to provide a service, not lose customers.

Megans Nails Salon - Hayward Brandi Neil: Iâve been going to Meganâs Nails for years and Iâm always so happy with their services! Ruby is amazing and her staff is great! They always go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with everything. Ruby is very talented and on every occasion she makes sure Iâm in love with my nails every time.
The salon itself is very clean, welcoming and has many color options. 10/10 I will be back!
Lavender Nail & Spa - Hayward May Serrano: This is my second time visiting Lavender Nail and Spa. I got lucky that I got Mai again to do my manicure and I love the way my manicure turned out. She also gave me a pedicure. The pricing is also not too bad. I will definitely be getting my nails done by Mai again. Parking can be a little bit hard though.
