03-2025 Lavish Nails Spa in List Best 18 Nail Salons in Hayward, CA (Part 2)Oh My Nails - Hayward Adriana Rodriguez: I went in to get my nails done a while ago and the girl who did them said I needed a new set when I asked for a fill. I wanted to know why I needed a new set when I had just gotten a new set the previous time I went.
The girl begins to do my fill but starts huffing and puffing when she drills at the previous 3D art. I said ok you know what if you think I need a new set I will take it. The attitude was horrible until that point. She made me feel extremely uncomfortable to even make any requests. These are MY nails. IM PAYING YOU to do them. These are not your nails and this is not your money. If you think my request is stupid or unreasonable thats fine but dont huff and puff like a child over a service youre offering. Thats unprofessional, distasteful, and ghetto. She could have just explained to me (without an attitude) why she couldnt fulfill the service requested.
Once my nails were finished I even tipped $15 which people might think Im crazy. But thats about how much I tip for a job well done (the nails came out really good) and this was in exchange for me never going back. I always tip at the very least $10. I will be taking my $10 tips back to Dublin and Oh My Nails in Hayward will never see me again.
Next time keep your workers in check. If you see your worker/coworker with an attitude make sure to remind them you are there to provide a service, not lose customers.

Megans Nails Salon - Hayward Brandi Neil: Iāve been going to Meganās Nails for years and Iām always so happy with their services! Ruby is amazing and her staff is great! They always go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with everything. Ruby is very talented and on every occasion she makes sure Iām in love with my nails every time.
The salon itself is very clean, welcoming and has many color options. 10/10 I will be back!
Lavender Nail & Spa - Hayward May Serrano: This is my second time visiting Lavender Nail and Spa. I got lucky that I got Mai again to do my manicure and I love the way my manicure turned out. She also gave me a pedicure. The pricing is also not too bad. I will definitely be getting my nails done by Mai again. Parking can be a little bit hard though.
Royal Nail Bar - Hayward Ami Trivedi: Weāve been coming to Royal Nail Bar for years for mani and pedi. They always do a really lovely job. This time, I was excited to take my 2.5 & 5.5 year olds there. Grace really went above and beyond at making the girls feel comfortable & sooo beautiful with their sparkly rainbow nails. Thank you, Grace & RNB team! You all rock!!
Bella Nail Salon - Hayward C J Pettiford: One of my best girl friends suggested I go to this nail salon to get mine and my girls nails done. I booked an appointment at 2pm, when we got there 3/4 were seated immediately and the 4th was seated 4 minutes later. They did gel manicures and pedicures for my girls and a full set and pedicure for me. I showed Julie a picture of what I wanted, explained what I wanted different and sat back for the ride. Julie did my nails exactly like I like them without me saying anything extra! She was very kind, chatted with me a bit and made sure my nails were to my liking. The girls enjoyed their technicians as well. My pedicure was wonderful! This was my first time and wonāt be my last. Iām already excited about going for my fill in a couple weeks. You know they are good when I will drive 2 hours to get my nails done!
$75 for my nails, $25 for my pedicure and $110 for 3 gel manicures and reg. Pedicures. (One childās nails/feet not pictured.) keep in mind it was hard to get my kids to keep still enough to take these pictures.
The Natural Nail Salon - Hayward Daria Nesterova: In the first photo, my nails after 4 weeks of wear, I had absolutely no complaints about this salon! Again, as a former nail technician myself, I wanted to know today what could be done to extend the wear, as two of my nails lifted and started to peel after a week. I got tired of doing my nails myself, but the green nails in the photo are my work, after 4 weeks of wear, with one of the cheapest polishes from Amazon. This is real and not difficult to achieve.
Today, when I came to consult on what we could do, the technician suggested a more expensive polish, although I know for sure that an expensive polish is not always the key to long-lasting wear. So I wanted to suggest better preparing my nails for the polish, for example, not soaking them in water and applying a bit more nail dehydrator.
The technician said something to the owner in her language, and at that moment, I received an inadequate reaction from the owner, saying that if I didnt like something, I could leave. She mentioned theyve been doing nails for 8 years, etc. I said that I had absolutely no complaints and was just trying to discuss what we could do, as I like how neatly they work; their work is much neater than others. But I did not expect such rudeness. She spoke loudly and kept hinting for me to leave, essentially kicking me out without even trying to listen, and then she said not to talk to her but to speak with the technician.
For the first time in my life, I left a salon in tears. I was shocked and couldnt calm down for a long time. It seems the owner has gotten a big head. My advice to all salon owners: fall in love not with yourself and your work, but with the clients who pay you money. Despite the good service, the customer service was terrible.
Nice Salon & Spa - Hayward J. Ruvalcaba: This is a cute nail salon, great prices and the best nail tech is Lisa for full sets! Highly recommend
Top Ten Nails - Hayward Jacquelyn Monteiro: I used to go to this nail shop as a teenager and thatās when the Son worked there idk if he still does because I didnāt see him there when I was there. There were 3 faces I remembered from back then. But ima say this the price was good it was only $40 for a pedicure and they were my last resort that day. The man that did my toes did okay until I just noticed yesterday he didnāt even paint my pinky toe. I never paid attention to all my toes n thatās my fault. I went on vacation n came back n noticed then that it was never painted. I got my eyebrows done like back in the day and she had me lookin crazzzzyyyyyyy. My eyebrows were thick n boxed shaped again my last resort she showed me and I said ā ohhhhhh no I donāt like this please smaller and no eyebrow pencil and after that they looked good. I saw the reviews which gave mixed feelings bug still gave them a shot and I wonāt be going back. Maybe I just came on the wrong day idk but I was hoping to prove the reviews wrong but Iām with alot if other people smh this not the spot anymore to go too.

Pro Nails - Hayward Mary Kendall: Update: This place closed. I tried to call to book an appointment, the number was no longer in service. Drove by it get yesterday and they were scraping the window art off the windows.
Had a full set of acrylics done. The lady did a good job. They are not thick and shaped well. I made a same day appointment. There was a 15 minute wait but I didnt mind that. She apologized twice for my wait. I am pleased and plan to return for my fills.
