5 /5 Zoe R: Athena is a patient, attentive hair stylist who really takes the time to get to know your hair routine, your hair goals, and you in general before even touching your hair. She is incredibly generous with her time and spent four (possibly more!) hours with me in my first appointment. And even beyond the appointment, she replies to emails and texts from me when I have questions, and has coordinated with me to schedule the pickup of free samples (which she was generous enough to offer before I purchased products from her). I had really long (now medium length) wavy/curly hair that’s in between textures and it’s been really challenging to find someone patient enough to get to know my hair and not just encourage me to cut it short or treat it with chemicals and heat. I am appreciative of Athena’s respect for her clients and her ability to meet me where I’m at in my hair journey (she checked in at various points in my cut to make sure I was okay with where she was taking it). Definitely recommend her, especially for anyone who’s had bad experiences and is now looking for a hair stylist to develop a trusting relationship with.
