She always, without fail, delivers what I ask for better than I can imagine ✨✨✨✨I recently visited her at her new location and it had been awhile between appointments (I was traveling). My hair was in dire need of some attention and care. By the time my appointment was over, not only was my hair brilliantly refreshed--- when I looked in the mirror I looked like the most vibrant version of myself which was a boost I really needed. Tracey is one of the most talented stylists I have ever met. She is also kind and generous hearted. When you are in her chair you are in very, very good hands!
The Hair Parlor Ventura - Ventura Kelsi Hoover: The Hair Parlor is inviting with bubbly and friendly people working there. It is located upstairs and has a good view. They have a bathroom for clients to use and give you the option to have a drink while you wait. The process was easy for booking and text reminders are sent out to confirm, which is super helpful! The "vibe" is very Ventura and I highly recommend!
My teen daughter went to Lauren to get her hair dyed and styled. Lauren helped my daughter to feel confident in her decision. She had a Pinterest idea of what she wanted and Lauren helped her decide what color and type of dye would work best for the intended outcome she was looking for.
Parking situation: The paid parking along the street was made easy through the Park Mobile app and it allows you to choose where you are parked and for how long. Although its frustrating to pay for parking, it is well worth it. The process start to finish took 2-2.5 hours and $3 in parking was well worth it.
Studio K - Ventura Naos Wilbrink: Best haircut since I came to the states.
I’ve been going to my hairdresser in Amsterdam, NL for 20 years. She knew exactly how to cut it. 3 years ago I moved to the States and I’ve been looking for a great hairdresser ever since. And I believe I’ve found her in Beatrice.
Finally I feel like my hair goes where it’s suppose to go. Without the use of product the cut is perfect.
Maybe it’s her background in Hollywood filmstudio’s, maybe her years of training and her talent. I’d absolutely want everyone to go to her.

Le Beau - Ventura Haley Cornett: Jeanine is amazing! I thought I was going to have to shave my head to erase all the damage in my hair. But after listening to me she was able to provide a beautiful, low-maintenance cut without having to take much off at all. My hair feels lighter and livelier, and she gave excellent recommendations for nursing my hair back to good health. 12/10 beautiful & clean salon, nice people, I felt right at home and I love my hair again.
Hair salon by S & D - Ventura Bella DeLeon: 10/10 highly recommend. I was a little skeptical about getting my extensions redone as last time I had been ripped off by someone else but Sarah exceeded my expectations for an an excellent price. After our consultation I knew I was in good hands and she ended up doing an amazing job. She took her time making sure my extensions fit perfectly and they ended up looking beautiful. She also uses high quality products as well as high quality human hair. If you are thinking about getting hair extensions I definitely recommend Sarah as she is extremely talented and experienced!
Matiz Salon, Inc. - Ventura Ashley Sunshine: Was treated rudely on the phone and told after send pictures of what I wanted done to my hair, and what I my hair currently looked like, and was told that they would get back to me RIGHT AWAY with an answer if the stylist would have time to see me the next day (I needed to be seen right away for my graduation pictures) well, after eagerly waiting (when I could’ve spent that time finding someone else to try to do my hair) it wasn’t until at about 5:30pm that I received a text message (NOT EVEN A PHONE CALL BACK) saying that the stylist wouldn’t have time to do my hair the next day and that they could see me sometime next week. I was so disappointed and desperate I even offered to tip an additional $100 on top of services if they could squeeze me in the next day.
I found a better salon last minute that was still open when I called at 5:45pm and she was kind to me, I told her my dilemma and did the same thing, sent her pictures of what my hair looked like, and asked if she could see me the next day and what I was looking for.
Well, let me just say, that Matiz Salon was recommended to me by a friend, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
In fact, I’d recommend you take your business to Candy at Hispanso Beauty Salon in Ventura.
She overly exceeded my expectations and was willing to squeeze me in last min. And this is what she did to my hair for $260 (but I tipped her well & she threw in some hair products too!) *these hair services were NOT done at Matiz Salon!!!
GLUTTON Luxury Salon & Day Spa - Ventura Milo Mae: theyre great, theyre very very sweet, every receptionist is very nice. melanie is awesome and she does amazing with designs and hand art, shes also super nice and really fun to chat with, makes the time go by super super fast. antoinette is really nice too, very friendly. nuvia is super nice and really feels like a friend when you talk to her. everyone ive ever seen there is absolutely awesome and super sweet. amazing place, i come here each time i want my nails done!
Tupelo Honey - Ventura Ashley B: I have been going to Paris for the last few years and she outdoes herself every time! She easily understands what I am looking for and always executes it! Not only is she extremely talented, but she is one of the sweetest people I know :) I have been to salons in the past, where I have felt like my hairdresser just wanted to hurry and get out of there. This is not the case with Paris at all. She takes her time, has lovely conversations with you, and makes the whole experience pleasant and relaxing. After each appointment, I leave feeling happy, confident, and thankful I have such a great hairdresser. Please do yourself a favor and book with her for your next appointment!
