04-2025 Fresenius Medical Care at San Mateo Medical Center Apheresis in Best 12 MD and Hospital near San Mateo, CA (Part 4)Dignity Health Medical Group - Sequoia - Belmont Brooklyn Ingram: Dr. Kan consistently disregarded my health history, symptoms, and care needs. She refused to accept any diagnosis or test results from my previous providers and also refused to do any testing of her own to confirm my diagnosis for herself. When I asked her to clarify what she needed from me to provide care for my condition (as previous tests were not accepted and she refused to test me herself), she hung up on me mid telemedicine call. She also mocked me for bringing a family member to my appointment saying that it was "dramatic" and "unnecessary". I had similar experiences with other doctors at this location and had multiple issues with billing. Do not come here unless you want to be mistreated and mischarged.
South San Francisco Clinic - South San Francisco jose orellana: They have horrible patient care coordination. They constantly cant request a refill because they mess up a simple rescue inhaler and then they make appointments and close early and do not confirm contacting patients. And lastly Dr feels very judgemental. Rating -10
Eugene Y. Lee, MD - San Mateo Cecilia Ramos: Dr. Eugene Lee is one of the best doctors without a doubt. He is highly skilled, compassionate and understanding. Three years ago, I had colonoscopy and endoscopy done by Dr Lee at the same time and it went very well. His staff are nice and friendly and the surgery center is awesome.
Dignity Health Sequoia Hospital - Redwood City Dana Chin: What a great hospital! I was so impressed with everyone, from the receptionist giving me directions to the X-ray technician, and others. They were all so efficient and seemed happy to be working there. My appointment was easy to get and less than a five minute wait. It was actually a very pleasant, comforting experience. I would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Lenity Vet Specialists Emergency Care - San Mateo Kristin H: Dr. Carlson saved my dog’s life. Lenity saw us through an incredibly stressful week last week. Our 4 year old standard poodle, Luna, became very ill inexplicably. Luna stopped eating, became lethargic, and ran a fever. The team led us from diagnosis to emergency surgery for a liver abscess, as well as (two!) complementary staple repair procedures when she got through her collar. Dr. Carlson is a fantastic surgeon and owns the practice - it’s not corporate owned like many other places. She gave us a tour of the facility- they have everything there. I will not comment on the price, except to say that now we know the importance of having pet insurance without a cap. Overall, Luna is alive and we are lucky. I trust the team and am grateful for our time there. Apart from the animal care, they are good with people too. I was an emotional wreck all week and they rolled with me and my anxiety like pros. Shout out to Autumn and Brian who were particularly supportive. Thank you!!!
One Medical: Burlingame - Burlingame Janice Platt: I am a new patient at One Medical and have been pleasantly surprised. Dr. Erica Yeo has been very helpful as is the nurse Charlotte Lamb. I can get an appointment easily and quickly as well.
