Lights are amazing without blinding you. A great way to spend the night. Recommend to get there early to get good seats. The neighborhood is small so parking/driving is tough.
Cutler Park - Visalia Katie Squire: A hidden park that has even more to offer. I was with the honor society for scouting and we have prepared a childrens soccer field and relined a small baseball diamond on the western end of the park. Be prepared, the park gate closes at 5 pm and is not open on Tuesday and Wednesday. Lots of great family fun.
Visalia Rawhide Baseball Club - Visalia Angel Ledesma: It was scorching hot, but they had misting systems to keep us cool. We had an incredible view and the customer service was top-notch. I indulged in the asada fries with a helmet, and it was an absolute blast! Enjoy every moment!
West Main Park - Visalia April Van Fossen: Small, but incredibly lovely spot. The type of spot where you dont really feel like youre in town. Rarely anyone here. Wonderful place for a picnic. Just lovely nature, no playground.
Kiwanis Park - Visalia Chavez Web Design, LLC: Great place to take your kids to play. It is clean
and you can even walk at night with your pets. The par has some
picnic tables, you can see some ducks in the pond. It has a nice walking trail you can take with the family and pets. The play ground is in great condition. Great place to just sit under a tree and relax.
Cherry Meadow Park - Visalia Meagan Martin: Decent park. Nice for a quick trip after picking the kids up from school.
Found a pair of lingerie underwear under the tree once, which was gross and weird. But who knows what happens at parks when there aren’t a ton of people around!
Whitendale Park - Visalia Ryan Bothof: A nice large park with a parking lot and a smaller building that you can rent. Has something like 4 or 5 diamonds and lots of grass which looks beautiful in the springtime. Also, it is on a street that isnt very busy which makes it easy to walk or bike to the park especially if you have kids to watch out for.
