5 /5 Schmidt Chris: I was traveling to my new home from Washington State to Fresno, California. 10 miles outside of Woodland, I broke down, sheered off all the studs, lost the lugs, honestly I thought I messed EVERYTHING up. I had AAA pick me up (great tow company and wish I got his info) and suggest a shop that will take good care of me. Well he dropped me off on a Sunday. I stayed the night, rented a car and expected to pick it in a week or two. I showed up the next day, explained the situation, guys took me in and provided some relief on jumping on it. My thoughts (even calling my service contract company) Fil calls me 3days later, saying my vehicle was all fixed, minus some custom lugs (which was me for not ordering the proper ones). Now remember, I had thought at a minimum, over $1000 - nope, these guys got me back on the road for under $300!!!! I about fell out of my chair! The next day, jumped in the rental to drive the 7hr round trip. Fil & Hector even came and picked me up at the rental store. If you want a solid mechanic or shop, do yourself a favor… Go see F & R! I couldn’t have been happier with their entire team! Huge shoutout to the team! I hope I could make your guys’ shop a little happier with a few frosty beverages! Being a tad OCD - anyone I don’t know working on my car scares me, but can’t give these guys anything but 5 stars! I would have given them 10!!!

5 /5 David Francis: I dropped my vehicle off expecting to have an expensive repair. It turned out to be something very cheap. They were honest about the problem, didnt try to upset or overcharge me, and fixed the problem quickly. Professional and honest staff.

5 /5 Jason Hendrix: Broke down at 505 and 5. Randomly chose their shop based on ratings. I was not steered wrong. The shop manager was clear and patient though he was quite busy. Worst case scenario: shattered transmission and a tie rod about to fall out. He found a 96 Ford Explorer in the metropolis and other parts. It took a week for parts but they got it done and were courteous champions.

5 /5 David Jackson: I used F & R for the first time today. When I scheduled my brake appointment, I was disappointed because my appointment was 10 days out. I scheduled anyway. They said 250 for just brakes, 450, if rotors need turned. I thought if they are that busy there must be a reason why, no worry’s about cost. I dropped my car off at 8:00. Asked when it would be done, and they said we won’t know until it’s on the rack, but probably around 12. I called at 3:00 they said they were waiting on rotors. Ok. Maybe the rotors needed turning. They said the car would be ready today. At 6:00 got the call my car was ready. They said the rotors were to worn to turn and had to be replaced. Then he said a caliper on the left side needed replaced. Something to do with the electronic brake motor not retracting the piston. I suspected they were telling me this to prepare me for a very high cost brake job. I had my guard up, was going to ask for the original rotors, ask for the calipers, and challenge the price. Take all the original parts to get second options, etc.. Then they said the price. I was shocked $490. He was explaining the extra work because he wanted me to know why the delay. He explained why I needed replaced rotors rather than turning the old ones. He fully explain in length why the caliper needed replaced. F&R was more than fair and I will continue to take my vehicle there in the future. Not often do you walk away from a service company and think about what else you can take to them for service. Nice doing business with these guys.
