04-2025 Emro Beauty in List Best 19 Nail Salons in Thousand Oaks, CAProfessioNail & Spa - Simi Valley Isabel: DO NOT COME HERE. I asked Tina for short nails and she made them long and got mad I asked her to cut them down. She cut my skin and made me bleed and put GLUE in the cut to stop the bleeding. The polish was applied lumpy and rushed. When I complained about it which I hardly ever do , they didn’t do anything about it. The nails also popped off 2 days later.
Amy Beauty Center - Newbury Park Loa Arnoth: I had a wonderful manicure / pedicure from Kimmi, she’s incredible! She was so detail oriented, helpful and fun. She was explaining how she’s an expert on healing foot and nail issues. Ingrown toenails, fungus, and massage. I definitively found my new person!!
House Of Polish - Camarillo M H: Best manicure and pedicure in town! They are amazingly affordable, and you gotta love the family here. Friendly, accommodating, and clean facility. If youre looking for a really good manicure or pedicure, give them a try.
BCBC Nails Spa - Westlake Village Holli Fortune: I dont normally write reviews but our experience overall yesterday was terrible. First impression is this place is very dirty. The floors are disgusting, the chairs are dirty, even the nail polish ( the little thats there) is unkept, old, goopy, and dirty looking.
We had made an appointment but they were not ready for us. They first told us to sit at two chairs that were visibly dirty. When I stood there and refused to sit, she told us to go to two other chairs on the other side of the room. Not much better. They had not been cleaned yet from the previous clients. Still had dirty wet towels on the foot board and discarded supplies in the sink. We sat there like that for awhile before someone rushed by and picked it up, filled our sinks with cold water without any kind of fragrance or salt. We had to ask twice to get hotter water before they got to us.
The tools they use here are questionable. All the towels here are disgusting looking. Theyre stained, old and ratty looking, and look dirty even if clean. The tools are just thrown in bins, which made me wonder- do they actually clean them in between customers?! The pedicure itself was lacking. He didnt trim my toes, didnt clean underneath my nails, didnt trim or clean my cuticles. When it came to the callus remover Im pretty sure the plastic wrap he put on my feet were used, and I question the cleanliness of the scraper, along with all the tools ( which is why I didnt say anything about cleaning under the toenails and cuticle) The hot towel was warm and partly dry, he just kind of threw one towel over both legs for a minute and the hot stone he used for maybe two or three minutes. He was rough, rushed through everything, and didnt seem happy at all. My friends pedicure was no better. It was the worst pedicure weve ever had! The only thing he did do well was the polish on my toes. Which was why Im giving two stars instead of one. So basically I paid $65 for a polish change.
I would not recommend going here. I seriously question the cleanliness and thats honestly enough for me to never want to go back. Then add that the service was terrible too. I cant believe the place was as busy as it was! Well never go back and definitely wont recommend it to others.
And to the staff, you need to deep clean that place, including the chairs! Throw those towels away( they sell big bundles right across the way at Costco!!), buy new polish and organize it, actually give the full services someone is paying for without roughness or rushing,
and honor your appointments before walk ins! The place could be nice if you actually cared!
Beauty Babes and Co. - Thousand Oaks Jackie Kalinowski: Leanna is absolutely amazing! She did my lash lift and tint, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. She took her time to make sure everything was perfect, and the final look is so beautiful and natural. I love how lifted and defined my lashes are now! Her attention to detail and professionalism made the whole experience so relaxing. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for flawless lashes. Thank you, Leanna! I’ll definitely be back!
Fan Nails & Spa - Davis Marilyn Ramirez: *THE BEST OF DAVIS*
I’ve been going to Fan Nails for over a year & will not go anywhere else in Davis. Quality service, fair prices, and clean tools/facility — the perfect combination in a nail salon, in my opinion. The owner P is so sweet, every nail tech who’s helped me is perfect, and the pricing is straightforward. I love love love Fan Nails. I’m a student, so pricing + service is obviously very important to me, and since I’ve moved here, Fan Nails has not disappointed. If you’re looking for a nail salon that’ll be kind, fair, and understanding of what you want, Fan Nails is for ya! - a very happy customer of 1.5 years
Nails By Tam - Davis Lizette Hopkins: Minh has been doing my nails for more than 35 years. Her work is superb!
Natural Nails & Spa - Davis Jordan Frazer: I went in yesterday evening with my boyfriend and my friend. Our total was 275 we paid with $300 and there’s a $25left (we were already planning to tip more) but the nail tech who did his pedicure or directly asked for an extra $60 in tip which he did give to her, but thought it was really rude that she asked for a direct amount call the nails me and my friend got turned out completely horrible very bumpy and thick. I called earlier this morning to speak to a manager and I was told ones that N and I got hung up on. I will never get my nails done here again it was the worst I’ve ever gotten. The staff is pretty nice. But very scamish
First Lady Nails - Davis Kristin Sky: I’ve been coming here for about three months and I always use Kelly for my fingers and Tina for my toes. They are the best! These are all pics of my nails after Kelly copies whatever example photos I bring in.
G Nail & Spa - Davis Sarah Wu: I went there to remove acrylic nails. The lady didnt soak my nails first, instead she tried to take it off brutally by using other fake nails. I told her it hurts me so she soaked the other ones remained. I asked her why she didnt use it at first, she said because it takes too much time for her to remove it. She literally said “nah I dont want to do it because it takes too much time for me” (so she rather makes her customer feel extremely uncomfortable and painful?) After soaking my nails, she used the drill and accidentally went too deep that went thru my actual nail and hurt my skin beneath it. It was too painful that I screamed and told her to stop. The guy (manager?) asked me to leave and told me this is how they remove acrylic nails. He said to me “If you dont like her service you can leave. We don’t want you to be here.” No apologies at all.
I went to another nail salon nearby and they said what she did was a total bs and she was just trying to save her time.
