1 /5 John Bruestle: Showed up for my first visit after waiting a month to see him. I gave the office staff my Blue Shield card and, my Medi-cal card as a second provider. I have Medi-cal because I was unemployed during Covid because I lost my job. I sat down to fill out new patient forms and the front desk person went into the back and to check something. She returned with the office manager and she informed me that they cannot take me as a new patient because I have Medi-cal. I have Blue Shield PPO and my Medi-cal is still active so I use it as a secondary. I explained that my Blue Shield insurance gets billed and not Medi-cal. I called my insurance groups customer service phone number to check their information and they are completely wrong on their information about Medi-cal and billing and I felt very demeaned and degraded. Dr. Issvorans employees made me feel very sub-standard and it gave me a preview of what was to come from the rest of his staff and his practice.

5 /5 Tammy Martinez: Dr. Issvoran has been my doctor for a few years and also my husband’s doctor. He’s a great doctor and listens too your needs. Dr. Issvoran is thorough and helps in any way he can. I get in and out quick and I can get an appt as soon as next day if I need it.

1 /5 Daniel Bursch: Had seen him a few times several years ago. It had been a while (yes, there was a pandemic) so I called for an appointment. The front staff asks about insurance. I said I now have medicare/tricare. She says she will need to check because of the medicare. She calls back and says they cannot take me, claiming it had been too long (over 3 yrs since my last appointment). Sooo....like the reason changed. Not the way to treat a veteran!! I think he is good but the front staff is unorganized and overworked. Good luck!

5 /5 Romina Sparano: A doctor who REALLY cares! We need more doctors like him! I just got my full blood panel results, and Im doing great: Dr. Issvoran has been sending me to do a Boston Heart panel (a third party not associated with him, but trustworthy and thorough) and adjusting his recommendations to improve my numbers. He is so knowledgeable! Hell sit with you and explain every result, recommendation, and option. He discusses whats best for you: he will tell it to you straight because he cares, he wont prescribe just because its the easy way out of a symptom, he will focus on healing and improving your health long term. I got my husband to switch doctors to him as well. We, at 40+, are in the best shape of our lives thanks to him!

Calla Boo: I had requested images for studies from medical records who told me to go to mychart. Then I called the Diagnostic Imaging department who said I can request it through Medical records or go to Marina since we live close to Marina. I went as suggested and the people there just did not seem to want me to request images from them and did not make me feel welcome. I had to go twice since my doctor also wanted a images from a different modality. Inside of sending me through hoops and hurdles if the Medical Records department would have just said they would take care of it, it would have been better. Instead I felt I was given the run around and then felt even worse requesting my own records.

Jaia Lin: The Doctors are great but LORDY scheduling is getting ridiculous! I was just trying to book my kids well-child visits and was told that I have to follow MPPG on social media to find out when they’re releasing my doctors new schedule 6 months out!!! OR if I’m not on social media I have to call them every day the next couple of weeks to find out when the schedule opens 6 months out because they don’t know until that day. Plus often when I call you’re on hold 40 minutes! As if parents have that kind of time! Please MPPG, make scheduling easy for us like all other pediatricians I’ve ever seen before and just let us call and schedule an appointment for our doctor’s next available date!

I was still in shock and he had the compassion to call me into his office during my time of literal terror. Dr. Vierra put me at ease and chose to do surgery, which was successful, no more cancer!!! Daichi Sanssouci: I am a senior citizen who has dealt with military doctors as well as civilian doctors here in California as well as Europe. Never in my life have I experienced healthcare as bad as what Montage Medical Group provided. Everything about Montage represents what is truly wrong with our healthcare system from trying to make an appointment or having a prescription refilled. Everything was a problem. One of the biggest problems however was the fact that my medical records contained incorrect information regarding my health. When these issues was brought to the attention of the office manager I was discharged as a patient from all of Montage Health. This left me without any doctors and I had to frantically search for new providers not affiliated with Montage. I found a great Cardiologist from Stanford and found a new general medicine doctor in downtown Monterey. I also notified the board of directors from Montage and was never contacted. Montage is definetly a true failure when it comes to providing healthcare to patients.
