4 /5 Aditya Joshi: We attended 76th India Independence Day celebration here on 08/12. It was well organized and lots of activities for kids and adults. Dance and singing contestants were pretty good. There were fun activities for kids as well. Overall we enjoyed food and fun activities here.

2 /5 Henry Martin: Nice open park with lots of open area. It houses the worlds record Monopoly board printed and cement as per Guinness Book of World Records. There are also some cool statues that you could sit on or pose next to. The negative side to this area is there are a lot of homeless people sleeping in the Guadalupe River embankment area. Kids should definitely stay away from that area as there are a lot of needles and other bad things happening around there.

3 /5 Stephen: Just like the Monopoly board which really could use a new layer of painting, the park itself could really use some refreshment. The decoration is pretty old and not in line with the city’s nice and modern look. Also could use some trees and more benches to sit on.

Nicolas De Smyter: The electric tower was supposed the light the whole village, with just one light. Suffice to say that didnt really work. The tower was an inspiration for the designer of the Eiffel Tower in Paris .

Kelley Park - San Jose

Ruchita Uttarwar: As a nearby resident, I finally visited this park today and wondered why I hadn’t come sooner. The grounds are impeccably clean, very safe, and beautifully maintained. Dogs on leashes are welcome, and admission to both the main park and the Japanese garden is free. Although I was initially hesitant because of concerns about safety but rangers patrol the entire area to ensure everyone’s safety—and I didn’t encounter a single issue. I highly recommend this spot for a lovely walk or a family picnic.

Exhibition Lighting - San Jose

Lucas Ward: Useless eyesore parked in downtown. Built long enough ago that the "grass" made plywood and green paint is rotting Havent seen anything happen here since it was built. Waste of space

Almaden Quicksilver County Park - San Jose

Shamrock W: Excellent county park. The trails r well-maintained. Many of the trails are paved and quite wide. There are trails for all levels. There are a mix of shaded and exposed trails. Some nice open views.

Californias Great America - Santa Clara

sbgroppi: We had a great time at Great America. The park was very clean, lots of fresh paint on the rides and buildings. Restrooms were nice and clean. I would recommend this park to others. Not much has changed over the years, which makes this place very nostalgic in my opinion. Plenty of shade, grass, and places to sit. The landscaping was very well groomed and beautiful. Parking is close, no need for a long trolley ride, like other parks. Pizza and bread sticks were good. soda fountains were placed throughout the park. Fun for all ages, thats for sure.

St James Park - San Jose

Red M & M: I go here to pass out food, water, and clothing to those in need and that are living at the park. Its pretty safe during daytime hours. Sometimes, theres action, but its normal. Lol. The people are appreciative for the most part. If they dont want something, theyll let you know.

Japanese American Museum of San Jose - San Jose

Bruce S.: Wow, the Japanese American Museum is amazing. Though its not huge, theres a lot to see. Theres information and photos from J-town in the past. The 442nd regimental combat team with their motto "Go For Broke". They were the most decorated combat team in WWll. They rescued "The Lost Battalion" from Texas. Theres a lot of information and photos from the internment of Japanese Americans, including a replica of an internment barrack. There was also a Kimono exhibit when I went, but I think that the exhibit is over now. Theres also a section on Redress with information and photos. It was very touching to tour the museum and Id recommend that you visit the museum!!
