Marcys Hair Salon - Salinas Katy Zaragoza: Marcy is so nice ! She totally transformed my hair. I love it. And Madison is so professional as well go my brows and arms waxed by her. Super affordable. 10/10 recommend !
Tinas Salon & Day Spa - Salinas Rosie Ochoa: Tried this salon, for the first time based on previous reviews, for curtain bangs (yes, I showed her a picture and she called them curtain bangs) and come out with what I want” to call uneven Velma (frm Scooby Doo) bangs. Tina (the hair dresser ) said “oh I cut them them too short” I didn’t think much about it because I thought at least the shape would be there. But NOPE!! NOT WORTH THE $20 she charged. At one point Tina said she was scared of her scissors because they are really sharp as she has them next to my face. She seemed like a nice lady….. I went to another to see is something could be done but of course not because my bangs were cut way too short and not curtain style. Jorge (at the other salon) did even out the long pieces and uneven section and told me how to style for free.
Mireyas Beauty Salon - Salinas Hilario Morales: Very good service, I called to make an appointment and Mireya answered me to tell me that she was available, I liked how she treated me, very good, I recommend this business.
HAIRCUTS IN SHAPE - Salinas Ryan Wells: I love haircuts in shape. Ive been there a good handful of times. Each trip to get my haircut has been unique. Great conversation with the hairdresser and they make you feel simply comfortable. Not to mention they got a great product.
The Hair & Nail Bar - Salinas Crystal Cray: Very nice, patient with me. My nail tech didnt speak English and I cant speak Spanish, but she and the staff made sure what I wanted was communicated and I that I got what asked for. She didnt rush, even though it was near closing time. Clean shop, friendly staff, nice music. The Laah tech was awesome too and friendly.
Maritza Beauty Salon - Salinas linda castillo: pedro messed my hair up, i straight up looked like a candy cane i immediately went to my nearest sally’s for new hair dye. 130 to the trash. i do not recommend. i would add pictures but i forgot to even take picture since the hair looked like a complete mess.
Evelyns Salon - Salinas Magpayo Joanna (Jam): I cannot even explain how great Alma was! She was a life saver! They were open at 830am I came in without an appointment. She saw how desperate I was and told me to come in. I had a horrible haircut somewhere else and she fixed it. She seemed so close to all of her customers she was a very pleasant lady. I could tell she loves what she does. The lady that had an appointment that was waiting for me to be done was very nice as well I actually took her spot but she was ok for Alma to finish up with my hair. I was so happy with how she fixed my hair. When I was done I asked her how much and she said I already paid to get my haircut so I dont have to pay again even if it was from somewhere else, I insisted on paying but she wouldnt take it and the lady that was waiting told me thats I should just take it as a blessing. I almost cried. They were very nice people. And Almas skills were great. I will recommend everyone I know to go to this salon. You will not regret it.
Fellini Salon - Carmel-By-The-Sea Shannon Finnigan: I went to Kassidy because I wanted a low-maintenance way to keep my hair looking great without damaging it more with constant coloring. She suggested using weft extensions for volume and adding lowlights to maintain blonde dimension. The color matching was spot on, and everything looks so natural. Kassidy did an amazing job, and I’m so happy with the results! She’s also super sweet and always happy to answer any questions, making the whole process so easy. Can’t wait for my next appointment!
Evolve Salon & Aesthetics - Carmel-By-The-Sea Kelsey Costello: Katlyn and her team worked their magic for the hair and makeup for my wedding in July! Katlyn was super kind and accommodating when scheduling my hair and makeup trial, and did her best to make sure I looked how I wanted to for my wedding! On the day of, her and her team were able to complete a variety of looks including my wavy half-up look, all four bridesmaids with twisted messy low buns, big beach waves for my sister in law, and voluminous half-up looks for the moms, with a more natural/soft glam makeup look! They were kind and patient when asked for minor changes. It all looked gorgeous in person and on camera! Not only did our hair and makeup look beautiful, but it stayed for the whole night! I am not kidding you, our hair and makeup DID NOT MOVE even after sweating and dancing until midnight! My sister in law and I still talk about asking them about the hairspray that they use because my hair notoriously does not hold curls very well, and my waves stayed all night without feeling crunchy. Katlyn and her team did wonderful work, and I am so happy to have found them!
