5 /5 Brenda: Great preaching from the Bible every Sunday! Go there at 10:45am. Nice members.
5 /5 Aronda: The Church of Christ is a place of worship that has not changed the way it has been written. It is a Bible read, Bible fed, and Bible lead. The Truth

    St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church
Brandon Brookshire: An excellent parish that offers the Tridentine Mass. I am blessed to have such a traditional and beautiful parish so close to where I live. If you are within the area and are longing for reverence and orthodoxy, this parish is well worth the trip. An apostolate the Institute of Christ the King, Sovereign Priests, they offer the Tridentine Mass daily and twice on Sundays, and confession prior to every Mass.
The Father’s House Oakland - Oakland
Carlos Silva: Very welcoming place, very receptive people, great words, great music with a lot of unction. A good place to come with the family. I also liked the parking, try to arrive at least 15 minutes early and you will get a good spot. Because I noticed that those who arrived later already had fewer spots.
Bible Fellowship Missionary Baptist - Oakland
Yusuf Abdul-Hakim: My church and church family are totally awesome. Dr. Hawkins and his wife are the real deal!
Acts Full Gospel Church - Oakland
Beatrice Jacobs: I love the welcome home feeling you receive at this church. The teaching and preaching are all Bible-based. I can honestly say you will have your spiritual and physical needs met.
St. Leo the Great Catholic Church - Oakland
lena hill: I would give this school 1 star but my son seems to like it. But from a parents stand all the school cares about is MONEY,MONEY & MORE MONEY. They have a lot of fees they dont tell you ahead of time. "new family fee, kindergarten fee, candy fee and dont forget extended care fee and your monthly fees. Oh yeah and the seafood boil fee that is REQUIRED. They dont provide breakfast or lunch. I also applied for scholarships and the told me I didnt qualify for them and I dont see how. Private school is a different ball game. And if your a single parent middle class good luck. I thought anything with god money isnt a thing but clearly it is. I do love to see all brown faces its a nice thing to see in Oakland. They do teach them a lot.
St. Augustines Episcopal Church - Oakland
    St. Augustines Episcopal Church
D.J. Pryor: A most cool church. The people are very welcoming. The services are most enriching. Saint Augustines Episcopal Church is my new church home.
First Christian Church of Oakland - Oakland
Ton T: I can’t tell if this building is still being used as a Church but it’s Spanish influenced architecture facade and roof appears to be in need of repairs. I hope it’s renovated as it’s quite an appealing building.
Plymouth Jazz & Justice Church, UCC - Oakland
Plymouth Jazz & Justice Church, UCC
Mary Vertulfo: Plymouth is a radically accepting and loving community of people, with some of the best music in Oakland. I walked in and was immediately made welcome. I have found life-long friends, music, and endless opportunities there to make real and lasting change to the greater Oakland community through their partnerships and programming. I highly recommend going to their many musical events (Monday Night Jazz, Free First Fridays… Mardi Gras, Soulful Christmas… I could go on!!) Even if you’re not looking for a spiritual home, the incredible musical talent that plays at Plymouth Church is unmatched and you will have a wonderful time here.
    Oakland City Church - Oakland
john C. Palmer: We attended worship as out-of-town visitors on Easter Sunday so we can only base our review on that one Sunday service. The Spirit of God was truly alive in all aspects of the service. Fantastic Gospel music, the Word of God preached powerfully, baptisms with explanation of its meaning & invitation to anyone in attendance to come forward & be baptised or rebaptised, celebration of the Lords supper (with gluten-free crackers & an invitation to anyone in attendance to participate if they believe in Jesus as their Savior), friendly congregants of all ages & ethnicity. If we lived in the Bay Area this is definitely the church we would attend & we will certainly worship there whenever we are visiting the area.
First Covenant Church Oakland - Oakland
Carole Johnson: Loving and welcoming congregation that welcomes children and adults to learn of and worship Jesus Christ.
