The pastor and sermons are wonderful and biblically based. The fellowship here is warm and people stay after church for food and fellowship and dont rush out when the service is over.

Each Sunday Pastor Mike Killeen shares a message that teaches me something new and encourages me to become closer to the person Jesus wants me to be. Our church has amazing music, including both contemporary music and a traditional choir. We offer many different ministries. Some of these are Groceries with Grace - sharing food with those in need, youth programs, an award winning preschool, Bible Studies, support for local and international mission programs, and Stephen Ministry - a one on one ministry which supports those going through a crisis in their life. These are just a few of the opportunities here, where you can learn, serve, share and worship together. But my favorite thing about my church is getting to know the people here. We have won Best Preschool in North County for 2 years in a row now. All you need to do is tour the campus, meet the teachers, and the church staff to know that you belong here and will feel right at home. ☺️

Fellowship before or after the service with coffee, cornhole and bounce house for the kids. Childrens church ages K-5th, 3y-5y, and infants. For family with infants and nursing babies you will love this church. They have an infant room if you would like to be at church with full focus on worship. They also have a baby lounge in case you dont want to be inside the temple and prefer a more cozy environment but still be at church and see the service in a screen. In an adjacent room to the baby lounge they also have a nursing room in case youre not comfortable nursing in the temple or baby lounge area. They also have an outdoor sitting option with the service playing in a screen. .

The church is very close-Nite, the Pastor and his family have friends and connections with everyone who comes! The events are amazing as well, Bless local, Christmas market, Youth events, etc... All are dedicated to building up the communities of oceanside and fellow church goers. Joseph Tuitupou In October 2012, one day before finalizing my divorce, I stumbled upon the Oceanside Potter’s House Christian Fellowship Church. A chance encounter near a Navy Federal Credit Union ATM led me to this church, just 20 feet away. At rock bottom, their Sunday morning worship song drew me in. Pastor Tim Moynihan, through scripture, showed me the path to unity under God. I was saved, and miraculously, my wife followed suit three days later. The day we were supposed to finalize our divorce at the Vista Courthouse, my wife and I showed up and tore the divorce papers. Since then, with gratitude to Pastor Tim and, above all, to our Lord Jesus Christ, we’ve been together with our three beautiful children to this day. All glory to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior!

Kayla Zeledon I absolutely love the Potters House and their fellowship. I love how they preach the Word of God and don’t sugarcoat the gospel. It’s not all fire and brimstone and it’s not a flowery church. They’re not called to make us comfortable in our sin because we already have that in the World. That’s what’s so great about this church. Jesus Himself was confrontational and bold and didn’t sugarcoat anything. I love how active this church is. They’re always busy whether it’s a drama play, haunted house, thanksgiving potluck, out of town outreaches, in town outreaches, and etc. You won’t ever be bored here lol. I also love how they don’t throw events down your throat. If you can’t/ don’t want to make it to an event; thats understandable and they’re not here to make you go, it’s totally up to you. All of their events are filled with the gospel. From their bands containing the gospel message in their lyrics, to their drama skits, to their bible studies ofc and even their haunted house which preached that there is a hell and it is very real. If you don’t get your heart right and you die in your sin, you will meet that place one day. If that haunted house scared you; imagine hell itself? Halloween I don’t like, but if a church can make an event which pulls in hundreds of people and hundreds of people give their life to Christ then heck yeah do another haunted house. At the end of the day this is a bible preaching church!

Mandy Pursley When we first moved to California, we visited nearly all the churches in the area and decided on First Baptist because they were incredibly friendly and made us feel like family right away. The pastor delivers solid, Bible-based messages every week, and the music is a great blend of hymns and upbeat contemporary music. My daughter loves going to church as well, since the kids have a lot of fun while learning about the Bible during Sunday School, Childrens Church and AWANA. My husband is a Marine, and we have also appreciated their strong support of servicemembers and their families!

Karin Allison We came here from the east coast in late 2015 and were looking for a kid friendly church, family church, where we could get involved and grow in our faith. Well, look no further. Parkside is all about kids. And families. And helping their surrounding community. They meet in the multi-purpose room of an elementary school and the ministry outreach is immediate: helping feed under-served families whose kids go to school there, volunteering in their reading mentoring program and hosting "Kids Unleashed" twice a year, offering free athletics and craft and skill classes for elementary aged kids. Youll see baptisms on a regular basis, as well as mission trip opportunities. People meet in life groups during the week to study Gods word and do life together to foster community and mutual support.

Frances D. It was my first time visiting Breakwater Community Church. I was invited by Pastor Johnny Martinez and I sat down next to his wife Bonnie who attend this Christian Church on a regular basis. I arrived early at 10:30 a. m. so I could meet snd talk to some of their church members before the service began at 11 a. m. Some of the men and women I spoke to were very nice and they were friendly to me being a guest at this church. In the morning, hot coffee and pastries are offered to the church members at no charge. The service began at 11 a. m. It was very relaxing and casual atmosphere. I was just wearing blue jeans and a tee shirt. Some people were dressed up who work for this church but the member were dressed casually and wearing shorts and a tee shirt. Pastor Roger spoke about the Lord’s Prayer and everyone recited this Bible verse out loud. Also Pastor Roger read from the Bible on Moses Chapter 8 Verse 4 and Exodus Chapter 4 Verse 12. Then one guy was playing his acoustic guitar and everyone stood up and was singing this song Who Am I? The Pastor’s daughter was playing the keyboards. Also one older woman had a beautiful voice and she was singing a solo on God, It was really wonderful to listen to live music. This church service started at 11 AM and lasted until 12 p. m. I enjoyed listening to Pastor Roger speaking from his heart and I could feel the Holy Spirit. I also talked to Pastor Peter Kennedy who has a very warm and personable personality to me. I will definitely come back again soon to attend their church services in the future.

The worship services are well thought out and prepared which makes the overall experience such a pleasure. I invite all to come worship with us. Were located at 506 South Nevada St. Oceanside. Joann Hacker We stayed at Wyndham for four nights. They had daily Mass at 0800. I was so pleasantly surprised that it was less than a ten minute walk every morning. They pray the rosary and a beautiful prayer to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, as a group after Mass. They also have Adoration after Mass on a small side Chapel. Very welcoming community.

Emily Coates Such a cool stop! The museum and grounds are gorgeous and theyve done a great job maintaining them. Learned SO MUCH about the history of the missions in California and what life was like and the work that went into restoring this particular mission. Well worth the $8 for the self guided tour!

TC Freebird Absolutely beautiful and well restored and managed. When you walk into the church and find yourself surrounded by walls and artwork that hold so much history, you can feel a depth of awe that goes beyond measure. I am good with words and the only way I can describe it that makes any sense, is you are in the presence of God and His serenity. There is history in the art decor, the high ceiling wooden beams, every wooden pew, and even the candles being lit by visitors. Once you enter, you just have to sit and take it in. With patience and no rush to leave. Take it in and when you do leave, you leave with His hand on your shoulder. You can feel it. God is there. He is with you. Walking along the cobble bricks to the gift shop was a bit bumpy as I pushed mom in her wheelchair, but we felt the age of the place with a respect and understanding that so many came before us clear back centuries old. It wasn’t just a new experience, it was a privilege to be able and do so. This was made possible by the padres who kept this place alive for longer than any of us have been alive. You have to visit the gift shop! So much to see and choose from. There is a gift there for everyone on your Christmas list. Please don’t fret at the prices in a selection of items. Most are handmade which takes time and care. Overall, the sale of every item helps kept this place in alive for repairs and upgrades without taking away from the beauty of the historic truth of the holy ground you walk on. You can even buy a special bottle of holy water to take home, which we did. There is a garden, museum, cafe, cemetery, and meditation center. In the back west side of the property near the meditation center is a couple of statues that took my breath away. I pushed the wheelchair closer so mom could see it up close. A Roman soldier with whip in hand and frozen action as he was striking our Lord and Savior, as Jesus struggles with the burden of carrying His own cross to the place of his agonizing, torturous death. His pain was so severe in fact, they needed a new word to describe it. They put the word crucify and the action of death together to create the words we know as “excruciating pain” into the language of all dialects. We will never know His pain, but we can visit a mission in the hills that has not swayed away from sharing what we do know of it. Visit this mission and support their work with donations, buy something, visit. We are the hands, feet, and voices that carry the message that “through Christ all things are possible”, like helping keep this mission open for another few centuries. Amen.
