5 /5 Angie P: Central Avenue Church is a church unlike one youve ever gone to before. The values of the church are progressive, lgbt-affirming and push for a space where its okay to have doubts. There are a lot of folks who have been isolated or left lonely by the "church" but Central is a place to openly doubt and ask questions and feel comfortable in the space of unknowing. The church is very service-based and gay friendly and truly about social justice in the world.

5 /5 Nicolas Michel: My wife and I have been going there since 2013 and we love it. People are very friendly and open, the spirit is young and modern. There are tons of activities to get involved, including volunteering, sports, books, movies... We also hang out pretty often outside of church. I definitely recommend giving it a shot!

5 /5 James Milley: Great people here. You will find three congregations using this space. Different languages. Different cultures. Newly renovated sactuary. Very kind and flexible pastor oversees the whole. Baptism pool available. Big eating hall. Full kitchen. Artistic exterior is liked by many but not all. Look for the full length painting of hands on the outside of the building.

5 /5 Herman J: An incredibly relaxed and open-minded Church. LGBTQ friendly and welcoming. Pastor and associate pastor have incredible backgrounds and educated worldviews. They also have a great Childrens Program here. Sunday morning Services include a fantastic music Ministry and there is a Wednesday night bible study / Discussion Group that is always filled with stimulating conversation.

5 /5 Eva Alt: Friendly, friendly parishioners, mostly young people. The service takes place on Sundays at 10:00. Everyone sings songs together, prays, talks about themselves, and asks questions. On Wednesdays and Saturdays they have free yoga in the evenings.
