5 /5 Darnell Fields: Great place to learn a little history of Riverside.

4 /5 Randy Lee: They are going through a transition in leadership and staffing, and only have staff to keep it open to the public noon-4 pm on Saturdays. They will be closed during July. Beautifully renovated former bank building next to White Park. The excellent video is shown in the former vault. Not an overwhelming place. Good selection of important, but lesser known heroes of the continuing effort to bring social justice and civil liberties to all of us. There is a childrens education room, and a conference room. Upstairs is an interesting retrospective on the life and work of the artist, Mine Okubo, who has ties to Riverside.

The Cove Waterpark - Riverside

Mike Rybarczyk: Not a huge crowd so lines are short, small park with decently priced food. Season passes are $120 for kids, so going 5 times all summer pays for itself. All additional trips are "free". They also use the schools pool next to the park. They have a high dive and regular diving boards at that pool.

Bri (x3xBellaDonnax8x): It was a wonderful place to visit. I went with my daughter for a school field trip. I did not know this is where the mammoth you see off the 60 fwy was and his name is Eddie. Our guide John did a wonderful job with our group. Stayed engaged with the kids and made it a wonderful experience for them. Definitely recommend.

Darlene Sanchez: This is an EXCELLENT place to ride. Very relaxing. Parking has clean portable restrooms, shade and picnic areas.

Jade Eckstein: Im only making a review cause me and my friend shared an experience that still is on my mind, we were there eating taco bell on the structure closest to the gate of the school where we kept hearing sounds like someone was dragging something really heavy or shoveling something. It gave us creeps and I was trying to be funny and look tough so I stood up and stared straight into the darkness. It stopped, I felt like someone or something was staring straight at me. I felt AWFUL my friend also felt what I felt. We felt it best to leave as it was super late at night and we were mad creeped out. We got halfway through the grassy field and we BOTH heard someone RIGHT behind us telling us to run, it was a deep groggy male voice and we are both POC so we knew not to ignore these warnings and booked it. We talked about it once we got home and wanted to believe maybe some homeless dude was messing with us but it didnt make sense because the only dude we saw was sleeping under the structure and no one was near us or behind any trees at the point on the field that we were at. Idk if anyones had any weird late night encounters similar but heres mine

Ameal Moore Nature Center - Riverside

Hino Cat “CatHino76”: Loved this guided nature walk. Ian Wright is awesome. All the attendees is evidence of Ians awesome curating. We learned and saw bugs birds and invasive and native plants and trees. Cant wait to join Ians Josua Tree guided walk or hike. The nature center was open with crafts coloring, lots to learn touch, feel and see.

Raul “Raw”: The playgrounds are worn down. There was glass around the sandbox. Had to clean it up so the kids could play safely. Its a decent park overall, unfortunately, people cant be cleaner and not trash it.

Moorten Botanical Garden - Palm Springs

Nicholas W: A nice cacti garden to walk around in. The staff was very friendly, and offered guided or self guided tours. Was fun to walk around and see the various cacti, other vegetation, birds, tortoises, lizards, and a hummingbird nest. Was a fun relaxing area to meander through.

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway - Palm Springs

Nemanja Zdravkovic: This place is truly unforgettable! The Aerial Tramway takes about 10 minutes to reach the top station, just below the peak of Mt. San Jacinto. We visited in June, and while it was 105°F (40°C) in Palm Springs, it dropped to 57°F (14°C) at the top! So, I highly recommend bringing a light jacket or something with long sleeves—you’ll definitely feel the temperature difference. The nature up there is absolutely beautiful. You can smell the fresh pine trees all around. There are some longer, more challenging trails leading toward the peak, but we chose shorter trails with peaceful desert views—so quiet and relaxing.
