5 /5 Nicholas W: A nice cacti garden to walk around in. The staff was very friendly, and offered guided or self guided tours. Was fun to walk around and see the various cacti, other vegetation, birds, tortoises, lizards, and a hummingbird nest. Was a fun relaxing area to meander through.

5 /5 Saturn Rainclouds: This is a hidden gem in the valley! is not only a wonderful place to show your children all the different types of desert plants and flowers but it is super affordable. I also love to buy the mini cactus plants and give them to family and friends as present. Very calm and serene environment. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Craig Mccoy: This is a small but beautiful garden with a $7 entry fee. Parking was easy to find on a Sunday evening, just along the side of the road. Our group of seven had a great time exploring everything the garden had to offer. It’s a quick walk through, but we were still amazed, and they even sell succulents, cacti, and other fun little trinkets!

5 /5 Hannah Starner: I went here last October and absolutely loved my visit. The people working were fantastic and were happy to answer all of my questions and chat. It’s small and I thought it wouldn’t take long to get through, but I think I ended up spending 3 or so hours. It’s a great place for plant-lovers and they have so many interesting plants. They also have great plants for sale. I bought five plants and four months later they are all thriving. The people running the garden are so knowledgeable and passionate. I can’t wait to go back and I highly recommend spending at least a few hours here! Just want to update this regarding the beautiful plants I purchased at Moorten. They are all especially THRIVING now that it’s growing season. I hadn’t appreciated how healthy their plants for sale are when I was there (I’ve since seen the same varieties being sold at other places— much more expensive and MUCH lower quality/health). Also after talking to other people at other nurseries/plant shops, it became even more apparent that the people I spoke to at Moorten are TRUE plant/cactus experts. I still cant wait to go back!!

Maree Doden: New Curator from Paris, France has given the museum revamped exhibits and fun things to check out. Worth a visit now….the big aluminum-looking house next to the museum (separate ticket) looks interesting. Too hot the day we were there to see what it was about.

John Roe: This is such a great display of men, women, and machines. Everyone should visit and not just on Memorial Day. We enjoyed the fly overs as well as the volunteers who have interesting pasts lives. I purchased the family pass for this year and I am sure we will get a lot of use out of it. Maybe I’ll get lucky and win the raffle next October and ride in a Bi- plane. :)

m kim: We booked a 3-room and a 2-room units for a family trip, and as soon as we opened the door with anticipation and entered, the room was filled with a pleasant smell, the carpet was dirty, and the screen door attached to the door to the veranda was broken. It doesnt feel like were at a resort. It feels like were in a cheap apartment in a slum. A place I wouldnt want to stay again

El Mirador Tower - Palm Springs

Carlo N.: El Mirador Tower is an iconic structure of the hotel who has lost its prestige through out the years. It was popular back in the 20’s and in 1982 was added to the National Register of Historic Places. Unfortunately, seven years later a fire destroyed it and they reopened the tower in 1991. This tower remains an icon at the 387-bed acute care hospital, Palm Springs’ only trauma center. Overall, it has an interesting history and architecture.

Agua Caliente Tahquitz Visitor Center - Palm Springs

Ram Dongre: Absolutely surprising to see a waterfall in midst of desert! The Tahquitz canyon trail is a one hour loop with medium difficulty. The trail is rocky but not too difficult; carry enough water though. The visitor center has low parking capacity so the staff allows only few cars per parking capacity; so be ready to park on the road leading to the visitor center enter and walk towards. They have clean restrooms and a gift shop plus a water fountain. Do carry sunshades and plenty of sunscreen. If you could sustain cold waters, you can have fun at the 60 feet waterfall. Great overall!

Matt C: This is an amazing way to benefit the community here, while we are all thinking of going to have fun. This sculpture park is bursting with surprises. Im a fan of comics, and the amount of detail put into the art reminds me of ultra detailed comics like Big Boy and Tank Girl. We felt homages to Iron Giant and so many other stories. The artist needs good communication, and you need to sign a waver in advance. Id suggest the day before. Those who join are also asked to purchase art, and there are so many one of a kind items at so many different price points. Love it! Highly recommend! If you have any love of art, youll appreciate something here for sure!

Indian Canyons - Palm Springs

Katherine Leung: Such a beautiful scenic area. Definitely worth driving there and to the different trails especially if you’re not a seasoned hiker (like us). The rangers were really helpful and recommended the Andreas Canyon and Palm Canyon to us. The Andreas Canyon was a totally achievable hike for two novices. Bring water and some flip flops if you want to wade your feet in water.

Agua Caliente Cultural Museum - Palm Springs

Mark Pitts: A great place in downtown Palm Springs to spend a few hours to learn about the history of the Cahuilla Indian tribe and their deep and many hundreds of years of their connection to the Coachella Valley. There are multiple exhibits, several videos to watch, and multiple displays of Indian artifacts and interactive displays in the history of their tribe. They have a good gift shop, several restrooms and additional displays to enjoy outside of the main part of the museum. Be sure to add this museum to your “to do” list when visiting Palm Springs.
