I NEVER SAID THAT I LOVED THE HAIRSTYLE. If YOU HAVE CAMERAS IN YOUR STUDIO, YOU CAN SEE THE RECORDING. YOUR STYLIST STARTED SAYING “I LOVE IT” . I JUST SMILED AND SAID THAT IT LOOKS NICE BECAUSE the stylist started curling my hair and I thought maybe my hair looks yellowish because of the sunlight!!! BUT I SAW THE ORIGINAL COLOR WHEN I reached home. And….WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SAY ABOUT THE DIFFERENT color shade ?????
PLEASE STOP LYING THAT I REACHED OUT TO YOU AFTER SEVERAL DAYS… I REACHED OUT TO YOU THE NEXT DAY OF MY HAIR COLOR. (I have added the screenshot of the chat).
I HAVE THE CHATS AND MESSAGES. I CAME FOR THE HAIR COLOR ON 30th and I messaged you the next day. YOUR STYLIST TOLD ME THAT SHE IS AVAILABLE ON 6th @3pm. So stop lying!
I clearly told your stylist that I have two big events the next day of my hair coloring service! I wasn’t able to come the next day(When your hair stylist asked) because of THE EVENT.
And ABOUT THE BLOWOUT: I HAVE BEEN TO THE EXPENSIVE SALONS AND THE REASONABLE ONES… everybody does and style the hair after the hair wash, hair spa and hair color service. So why would you tell me that you are gonna refund my money for the toner + BLOWOUT.
PLEASE ACCEPT THAT YOUR STYLIST IS NOT EXPERIENCED. IF SHE WAS.. she would knew how to do the right color on the first go. Of course I REFUSED TO COME BACK BECAUSE I DIDN’T WANT TO DAMAGE MY HAIR AND I DIDN’T WANT TO TAKE the second CHANCE TO SPOIL MY HAIR MORE than how already the stylist had done it.

I strongly advise against visiting this salon for hair coloring services. My experience was utterly disappointing. My hair ended up with a golden,green+blue and yellowish tint, which was completely unexpected and not what I had requested.
The stylist clearly lacked the expertise to execute a proper hair color. I had shown her four or five images of the desired color, emphasizing the need to conceal my gray hair and avoid any yellowish undertones.
However, after the hair wash and blow dry, it looked completely different to what I had envisioned. I initially thought it might be due to the lighting conditions at the salon. I had work to attend to, so I booked an uber and left. Upon returning home, I discovered that the color was indeed different. It had a golden and yellowish hue with a subtle mix of blue and green shades on the back. The grey hair was visible on the front.
The next day, I reached out to the salon to express my concerns. The stylist suggested that I come back and she would add a different toner.
However, I felt that if the stylist had been more expert & attentive to my preferences when I showed her the images, she could have achieved the desired result on the first go.
I made it clear that I would not be paying for a redo of my hair, which would likely cause further damage, and asked for the refund.
Surprisingly, the salon owner offered a refund of $113, which included the cost of the toner and blowout. However, I was shocked to find that she had added the blowout service, which I had not requested. This is typically a complimentary service provided by the salon. When I brought this to her attention, she revised her offer to include the $113 refund and the $20 tip.
I even requested a partial refund of the amount I had paid, but she didn’t respond to that.
While the stylist who colored my hair was a nice person , but my primary concern was getting my hair colored and not building a friendly relationship with her.
I had clearly communicated my preferences, but they were not met. As a result, my hair looks terrible, and I will have to spend another $400-$500 to get it done at a new salon.
I have attached the images of what I asked for and what they did.
I feel they should have refunded my whole 470$ what I paid because look how my hair looks golden and has weird blue patches on the sides.

Amy Hair-Nail & Skin Care Sln - Hayward Jeanette Nguyen: This family owned salon offers a variety of services, including haircuts, manicures, pedicures, eyebrow threading, and tanning. I came in to get my hair dyed and trimmed, and I also had my eyebrows threaded by the lovely Julie! Shes a mom of 5 and really knows how to make people feel welcome. The staff is very friendly and honestly always has their hands full with customers coming in and out at peak hours. The salon is located in a plaza with a Burger King, food store, and laundromat, so its very convenient. The interior is simple and practical-nothing overly fancy, but comfortable and functional. If youre looking for something affordable and reliable, I highly recommend this place.
Fashion Hair Design - San Leandro Arnold Armstrong: This salon did an excellent job on my hair. I got it washed (shampooed and conditioned) and then flat ironed. They took good care of me, and I have no complaints. The pricing ranged based on how much hair and length. Roughly about $55.00 for the whole process. I consider that a fair price for the work done.
Lis Hair & Nails - Hayward stacey nyamusi: Nice atmosphere well maintained and a good location but the staff was not friendly, nor could understand what I was saying…the main part here it comes after showing a picture of what exactly I wanted to do they do the opposite n half way through the process they want to charge me 10 bucks more!!!!!! After charging me $55 for gel manicure.
Inspire Hair - San Lorenzo Nur R.: Had a haircut with Jennica and it was very pleasant. She’s very attentive and I’m happy to have a good talk while at it. Mary Ann (I think) who’s the receptionist at the salon was really nice and accommodating too. I’ve been searching for a good and very affordable hair salon near me and I will most definitely visit again when I need it. This salon is my new favourite!
Hair & Gorgean - Castro Valley Aiza Funnell: I booked my first appointment with Gorgean after hearing about him at a local Facebook group. I had a hair straightening treatment and haircut. I was amazed with his talent and attention to detail. Gorgean gave a lot of helpful tips to ensure that I take better care of my hair and also to lengthen the life of my treatment. I will definitely return and recommended him!
Sarahs Hair And Nails - Hayward Jeanette Nguyen: An incredible hidden gem! This salon offers a wide range of services, including manicures, pedicures, haircuts, waxing, and more. Although its cash-only, they conveniently have an ATM on-site. I walked in for an eyebrow wax, while my boyfriend got a haircut, and we were both accommodated without an appointment. However, I’d recommend calling ahead to ensure availability. Tina took exceptional care of us, and all the staff were incredibly sweet. I highly encourage everyone to support this wonderful local business!
