3 /5 Angela Gutierrez: It was beautiful and so blue, but everything was fenced off, and you had to climb down steep hills. It was super packed, so I couldnt get down to the actual water. We were sitting at a picnic table chillin and a van pulled up to us, which was weird, so we got up and started to walk off, and they just took our spot over and set up shop. Pretty rude. Idk if Ill go back.

3 /5 Trent Eriksen: The bathrooms were in poor condition, but the sites were pretty maintained and have some good views of the resevoir. There are also rattlesnakes at the campground and toads, black widows and other bugs come out at night.

5 /5 Tothetrailsandbeyond: Black Butte Lake is beautiful! Its serene and peaceful. So many birds are flying around! We saw great horned owls! So cool! We hiked up to the top of the butte and the views were amazing!

Redwood Sky Walk at Sequoia Park Zoo - Eureka

Jesse White: Great addition to your admission price to the zoo. Really get a birds eye view of the black bears as you traverse new heights in the red woods. Luckily we visited on a quieter week day as I could see this being rough with crowds. Beautiful and well worth the visit and rating as best in the US.

Clarke Historical Museum - Eureka

Rebecca Aires: Very cool! They don’t require that you pay to visit but they ask if you can give them a $5 donation if possible. Guy at the front desk desk was lovely and very helpful! Museum had a lot of interesting info about the city and surrounding area. Loved it!

California Welcome Center, Eureka - Eureka

Angel Tun: This is charming coastal town . Eureka is well-known for its preserved Victorian architecture. I spent my time browsing Eurekas old town, home to various wonderful shops and restaurants. Cute little old town .

Sequoia Park Zoo - Eureka

Chrissy H: The Sequoia Park Zoo is such a great little zoo thats perfect for any age! We spent about three hours here and also walked on the Redwood Sky Walk. They have a lot of great and unique animals to view which made for an interesting and educational trip. The Sky Walk was absolutely phenomenal! We really enjoyed learning as we walked along the redwood trees, suspended in the air. I like all of the educational pieces they have throughout the zoo and we all learned a lot. The cafe offers lots of food options and even delicious cookies and ice cream. There is no parking lot here so be mindful that you will have to park on the street in the surrounding neighborhoods but its free so thats great.

Sequoia Park -

Alexis Rojas Jimenez: It is worth every dollar to fully experience this park. Nothing short of breathtaking and astonishing. Seriously cool stuff. I love the mini zoo, and of course the sky walk is the highlight. Definitely a place to go out of your way to go to. If I could give 6 stars I would without a second thought.

Fort Humboldt State Historic Park - Eureka

ROBOACE: This is a great little stop in Eureka.There is a nice trail that takes you around the fort and you get all the history and some exercise. It sits atop a hill and overlooks the town.

Morris Graves Museum of Art - Eureka

Carlton Tracy (Hobo Traveler): Daughter took me to see her art work (Orange man) The place has a great lay out as well as impressive art exhibit.

Humboldt Botanical Garden - Eureka

Keith Kirkland: Much more than it looks like it is at first glance. I expected a small community botanical garden we could walk through in 30 minutes flat... Thats probably true of the terrace garden, but theres so much more here. Really well signed. Nice trails. Amazing woodland garden that was bursting with color mid-April. Definitely worth a stop...
