Moving from fresno I stopped waxing for a while and seen this business when I passed through the shopping center. Looked them up on IG, booked an appointment and loved it. They make you feel very comfortable, they’re very gentle and have a lot of knowledge. Now I’m here every 4 weeks and do multiple services of wax and hydro jellies!
Marios Barber shop - Madera Marcos Plascencia: Place inside is dirty, spiderwebs, dust, old hair, walls paint chipping, dirty haircut stations, floors never mopped. Feels like I need a shower and wash my hands after sitting in this place. They take too long on haircuts as well. Dirty dirty dirty place. Come on fellas it reflects on your character. I only come here as last resort my normal barber shop is closed. Clean up and throw some paint in the place. Even state penitentiary is cleaner than this! Dirty and ratchet.
No 1 Cut & Perm Center - San Rafael Shannon Griffin: Tina and her coworkers are professional and fun. They make it easy and a pleasure to get my hair cut and highlights, and at affordable prices. Thank you Tina and coworkers for making it such a nice experience each time I go in.
Marin Essential Salon - San Rafael eSSa Studios: I came across Marin Essential Salon a few years ago when I was in desperate need of a haircut in the pandemic and have been getting my haircut here for a few years now.
Its so easy to make an appointment and every time I walk it I get a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Issam and the rest of the crew are very talented and offer variety of services for men and women.
I have recommended the place to a few friends and they all have been very satisfied as well.
I highly recommend Marin Essentials. Five Star all the way!
Precision salon - San Rafael Ryan Hoburg: Great salon. I’m sure the whole staff is good, but Duc is excellent. If you need a haircut, he is the man. I don’t live near here anymore so I get excited when I visit so I can get my hair cut by him.
Salon B - San Rafael jenny cardona: I’ve been a loyal client at Salon B for quite some time now, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful my experiences have been. Amy, in particular, is a gem! I trust her with my whole life because she consistently makes me feel beautiful every single visit.
Amy’s talent is evident in the way she handles my hair, transforming it into something amazing every time I leave her chair. Her attention to detail, her expertise, and her warm personality make each visit a delight. Whether it’s a toner service, highlights, or a complete makeover, Amy knows exactly what to do to make me look and feel my best.
If you’re looking for a place where you can trust the stylist completely and walk out feeling fabulous, Salon B with Amy is the place to go. Highly recommend!
Crazy Hair Salon - San Rafael Megan Hatcher: This place was horrible, they dyed my hair and with in 4 days it was faded and gone in most places. I went back and they said well these colors tend to fade, but failed to tell me that when I was getting it done. Also they told me my hair style was making my face less attractive in a very mean way. I dont recommend this place to anyone
Brewer Phillips Hair Design - San Rafael Melanie Walker: Anyone that is particular about their hair, man or woman, goes to Brewer Phillips. I have personally been going to Ann 40 years and even though that is forever, she continually surprises me with how up to date and modern she is. Always continuing her education with new styles and the latest products she also sells in her salon. Her color and haircutting expertise is beyond compare anywhere in Marin or the bay. She is an owner/operator and has a gorgeous salon with other stylists available as well. Make an appointment because they are that booked and the cancellation list is quite long if you feel lucky. There is, in my opinion, no other salon to go to
Tempest Salon - San Rafael Jenny Hobbs: Beautiful and relaxed vintage design salon, easy street parking. Awesome stylists like Annie will take care of you...aesthetician services available.
