5 /5 J Wagamon: What a wonderful group of people working in the ER here at this hospital. I’ve had my share of ER visits and I can say kindness goes a long way when you’re beat up. These were very kind people that were spending time with their patients all the way from the techs to doctors. Everything moved quickly despite them being busy. These people care!

5 /5 Angela Lane: While on our annual ski vacation, we needed the services of Barton. My husband had a terrible fall at Heavenly and required an ER visit. From the moment i pulled into the driveway, we received thoughtful, attentive, compassionate care. Cody was a ROCKSTAR in retrieving my husband from the vehicle and throughout of visit. He was kind and respectful, thoughtful and caring. Kathy and Dr. Jantos also went above and beyond, making sure to provide detailed explanations and provide for my husbands comfort throughout our visit. They were so kind and treated us as family. Having to seek care when away from home is daunting but the Barton ER staff was amazing! Thank you all again!

5 /5 richard hammer: On Feb 1st 2025 , i went to the ER because i couldnt breath. My Oxygen level was at 84 when i woke up .It turns out i have pneumonia and rsv .I was admitted for the night and released on the2/2/2025.Though i dont remember all the names ,i want to thank Christian in the ER and Dr. Andrew Tang and the nurses and respiratory therapists that were there up stairs .I appreciate all your caring expertise and compassion. 5 /5 Tina borgeson: Thank you so much to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Barton who took care of my 22 year old son yesterday. He was snowboarding with friends for the day at Sierra-at-Tahoe and had an accident. Ski patrol responded and brought him by ambulance to the ER at Barton. He said everyone was so nice and treated him so well! As a parent it was the most terrifying call to receive from his friend. We live almost 3 hours away and not being able to be right there was so scary. But knowing he was made to feel safe and comfortable and being taken care of means the world to us. The staff answered our questions when my husband called, and gave him extensive after-care instructions for managing his concussion. They were thorough with CT scans of the head and Cspine as well as a chest X-Ray and labs. As we were driving to the hospital, our son called and said he was being discharged. We are so grateful that he is ok!!! Thank you to everyone who helped our son Ryan yesterday and for treating him with such kindness and compassion in the absence of his family!

5 /5 Jerry Murray: I recently transfaey from this hospital to a rehab center after breaking 7 vertebrae’s, 2 ribs, dislocated shoulder, and head concussion. As a former EMS worker and LiffeFlight pilot, I am familiar with hospitals. I cannot expressed how much I am amazed by the care I got here. I cannot expressed only use one hand to hold this phone and type this review but I did not want to wait to say they even made my care there as nicer as it was. There are many staff members (you you who you are because I told you) that I promise to get you the recognition you deserve!!!!!
