1 /5 Brianna Chrisman: Barton Health is an extremely unprofessional healthcare provider, with a customer service & billing department that seriously pushes various health and insurance related laws.
Barton misbilled my preventative care visit as non-preventative. Upon trying to resolve the issue, I was redirected three times to various departments, and spoke to different representatives who were not only incompetent but also directly lied to me about what they were seeing on my billing and medical records.
They also consistently refused to tell my partner how much his physical therapy appointment would cost no matter how many times he asked, but continued to pressure him into booking an additional appointment for a minor ailment. The bill was close to $1,000 for a 1 hour appointment, not covered by insurance.
My advice: Stay away from Barton. Unless you have a medical emergency that needs to be treated immediately locally, find a non-Barton provider even if they are a further drive away.
My promise: I will continue to fight my battle with Barton, not only for myself, but for the folks who do not have the time or means to push back against the mistreatments by Barton that they have surely been dealt.
Update: Notice the representative below didnt even take the time to give me a functioning phone number. Barton does not want to help you. I did find the functioning phone number on the many poor reviews that were below mine, and have called them. I will continue to update with what happens (I do not suspect it will be happy updates).
