But she was able to remove it entirely in her office, after cutting into it. The pathology report was not unequivocal (type of tumor where malignant cells can proliferate later); thats how I got BC the first time. Dr. Evans eased my mind and truly cares about women life-threatening problems. Thank you Dr. Evans.

Kek “ZZR”: Seriously the worst hospital Ive ever had the displeasure of visiting. I have used Barton 4+ times over years living in Tahoe and somehow each time they provide worse and worse service. My most recent visit we sat in the ER for 7 hours straight (not once offered water). After finally getting MRI results they had to transfer us to Reno because Barton doesnt even have a neurologist on staff. Seriously? And dont get me started on the billing $$$. Other reviews have said enough. They have decent employees, but this hospital is filled with rot from the ground up. They will probably charge me $1000 for this review. Drive to any other hospital unless its matter of life and death, and even then I almost would rather die than go here again.

Hugh Walsh: I JUST RETURNED FROM SOUTH LAKE TAHOE HEALTH CENTER WHERE I RECEIVED MY FIRST SHOT OF COVID 19 VACINE. MY GOING TO THIS LOCATION WAS IN ERROR. WHEN MAKING THE APPOINTMENT, I SELECTED THE WRONG LOCATION. MY WIFE AND I MADE THE RUN UP FROM PLACERVILLE WHERE I LIVE AND WAS VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED AS TO HOW WELL ORGANIZED AND PROFESSIONAL THE STAFF CARRIED OUT THEIR FUNCTIONS. MY APPOINTMENT WAS FOR 9:30AM AND MY WIFES APPOINTMENT FOR 10:05AM. NO DELAYS IN TIME CALLED FOR THE SHOT; IN FACT MY WIFE WAS CALLED IMMEDIATELY AFTE ME AND WAS IN AND OUT BEFORE ME. WE ARRIVE AT THE CENTER AROUND 9:20AM AND WERE OUT BEFORE 10:00AM.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SERVICE AND LOCATION. NO LINES AND AT MOST ABOUT 12 PEOPLE AT A TIME WAITING THEIR CALL.

I’ve had a lot of doctors tell me what I’m feeling and what I should do, but Dr. Chipman lets me tell him what’s going on with me, trusts that I know what’s happening in my body, and does his best to give me help in any ways he can when I need it. He has an open mind, he cares about his patients, and he makes relationships with them rather than just seeing us as another name on his clipboard
