1 /5 Kalkidan Gebrehiwot: Please stop visiting this shop. They are a bunch of scammers who will take your money and never respond back. The owner Jake said that they will need to order parts and they charged me upfront fee. They even sent me receipt with their name on it. Very pathetic and disappointing.

I known Jake since we were both kids (15 years or more) back when my dad would do business with his dad when they were known as West Coast Tire. I have taken every vehicle i have owned as well as my parents vehicles to them. They are honest, smart, and quick when it comes to all automotive issues and repairs. I would recommend them for everything from oil changes to tires as well as general automotive repair. Great prices and great service. Next time you need your car worked on, give Bakersfield Auto Repair a call!

1 /5 Nilesh Patel: We were going from San Francisco to LV and our car break down because of starter issue. We towed our car at Bakerfield Auto Repair. They replaced car starter and charged $500 for it. After 6 months starter failed and need to replace again. I think they did not replaced started properly or very bad quality starter from Manufacturer. Good part is that they provided receipt and i am in process to get refund from Manufacturer.

1 /5 Edgar Bustos: Dropped my car off Tuesday afternoon for a diagnostic on the engine codes and also for some problems with unstable front wheels. Speaking on the phone with Christian the day before I was told the work wasnt going to take long, an hour or two to get it diagnosed and the same for the repairs. Sounds like something they could have knocked out by the end of the same day. Long story short it took 3.5 full business days after to tell me the problems. This was an easy job too they didnt have to deconstruct my car. I had to constantly continue to call them asking for updates. They never called me once even when sitting on a diagnosis. After telling me they probably cant get anything done on Saturday and I will have to wait for Monday for more of the same, I picked up my car without any work done and wont come back. Sadly to say you will save alot of money and even more time going with a larger business like Big O Tires or Rosedale automotive. It will also come with more transparency and accountability.

5 /5 Samuel Wayne Wiseman: Bakersfield Auto Repair has fixed every vehicle I own. They give honest estimates, quality service, and they stand behind their work. Ive been to many auto repair shops in Bakersfield and have never been so impressed with such great care. I highly recommend them.
