Charmaine Druyor: I love this church! I feel like it is my extended family. The pastor teaches straight from the bible and relates it to our daily lives . The services are at 9am and 11am except it is only 9:30 the last Sunday of the month and they have a potluck afterwards.

cyndivr: My wife and I feel blessed to have found an inclusive spiritual home at St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church. The community is welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community in word and deed. Thanks to Father Michael for the valuable spiritual counseling before our wedding, for officiating our special day, and for creating a nurturing spiritual space for our family. We look forward to being a part of the congregation as a family. Thank you and God Bless!

Filled out a form which they did not use. Were given an hour of time but got kicked out after 40 minutes. Were not even asked to speak about her.

John Doe: I remember coming to this church as a kid at the smaller campus (Cottonwood Christian Center). It seemed genuine then, but as they evolved to a mega church, their true intention began to show more. I’m not one to care about how an organization makes money, but I’m writing this review because my father passed away last year. He was one of the most nicest and welcoming persons in the church. We used to go there early and he would just talk to everyone before service, even as the church migrated to the new campus. Fast forward about 20 years, on his death bed, he tried calling the church multiple times, and no one answered, no one came. I believe Pastor Kenneth was aware of my father’s situation and didn’t call my mother until after he had passed. I have since moved on to the Catholic faith, and priests are present when their parishioners are about to pass. Bar none. The funny thing is, a Catholic Chaplain was there to comfort and pray for my father on his death bed. Imagine that. This church, in my humble opinion, sells faith. They only care as long as you pay. Please do not comment “You can get in contact with one of our pastors” because there is nothing this church can do to reconcile this fault. Thank you for leading me to the Church that Jesus Christ established, not some hippie.

Temp MedAsst: Awesome, welcoming church! Today was my first time and it was a pleasure! Pastor Kris Reed is Awesome in how he deals with his parishioners not to mention his simple, but powerful and delightful sermon! He is a pastor who gets along with everyone Parishioners went out of their way to welcome me, Sister Carmen Reed, The First Lady (Pastor’s wife) who sat in front of me welcomed me, and asked if she could call me to check up on me this week. There were small bottles of water and few packaged snacks at the entrance ( granola bars, crackers, etc.,) to curb your hunger. A first time visitor would receive a small gift also. Please tell anyone who is looking for a church or if looking for a change from their regular church!
Pacific Baptist Church - Long Beach
King Ram: My family and I attended this church for about a year, and overall, we loved it. I gave my life to the Lord in May of 2014, but I found this church in 2018. It wasn’t until the beginning of 2024 that I committed to attending regularly. I felt God tugging at my heart and calling me to make this commitment, so I started attending, and soon after, my wife and son joined me. This church has a very tight-knit community where most members seem to have grown up together. While that creates a sense of familiarity and unity, it can make it difficult for newcomers to build relationships. There were a few individuals who really went out of their way to connect with us, and one standout was Joseph, the assistant pastor. Joseph genuinely cared about building a relationship with my family and made an effort to make us feel welcome. I also attended Joseph’s class, which was a great opportunity to engage and grow spiritually. However, I had a different experience with one of the leaders. On more than one occasion, I tried to start a conversation, but the leader often walked away or didn’t seem interested in connecting. To clarify, I wasn’t looking for validation from men, but I believe it’s important to build a relationship with those we choose to have a significant influence in our lives. One thing to note is that being a part of this family of believers requires baptism. Despite the challenges in connecting with that leader, I still grew tremendously in my personal relationship with God during my time at this church. A major transformation happened in my life because I really zoned in on what God was calling me to have faith in. To anyone joining this church, or any church for that matter, I encourage you to take your relationship with God seriously. Don’t make it about you and man, but about you and God. Take every step in faith and involve God in all your decision-making. Most importantly, make sure you are spending more time in the Word of God than with anyone or anywhere else to ensure you’re grounded in the truth. This church has been a blessing, and while there’s room for improvement in some areas, I’m thankful for the growth I experienced during my time here. I will definitely be coming back whenever I’m in town.
