I went ahead with service anyway even though he was clearly trying to rob me. They said 32 was the price ten years ago for mani pedi, which I could believe, except every other price on the price list was correct according to them.
Then he grabbed a drill, ran it across my nails, scraped under my nails with a dirty used wooden stick, and grabbed the paint. I asked him how much I would ah e to pay to walk out. He said $10. I gave it to him and left. The photo is of my nails AFTER the āmanicureā and just before he was going to paint.
The manicure was running a drill over the nails, the dirty wood stick. A quick soak in dirty water (that he pulled from under the desk), filed two nails, and then he was going to paint.
Do NOT come here if you value hygiene or attention to detail.
Worst manicure ever.
Elegant Nails in Alameda - Alameda Nara Dahlbacka: Nancy is the owner and does a great and thorough job. I got a French pedicure and a leg wax and she painted the French tips perfectly thin the first time. Super impressive! Shes really great to chat with, and I didnt get a single red bump from the wax, and not a tiny speck of wax left behind!
Love My Nails & Hair - Alameda jaqulyn barringer: Linda is amazing!!! I haves never received so many compliments on my nails, in over 20 years of having acrylics. The shape and of my nails and the quality of her work are on point!! The salon is owned by three sisters and they are all so nice! I highly recommend!

The Lounge Nail Spa - Oakland Shani Shay: Clean, friendly, best prices Iāve seen in a while and immaculate work. Also quiet and peaceful. Near food and a grocery store, lots of parking. YAASSS

*Revised* I had an appointment today for a paraffin pedicure. Not sure what happened today but after 2.5 hours my toes still wont dry and the paint has clumped in some areas. I drove around with the a/c on my feet but not too happy about the paint job.
New Glamour Nail - Oakland Diana Cisneros: I still havent asked him his name. But the slim guy that works here is awesome! And all the ladies for Pedi are also amazing. My go to place.
Ann & Amy Nails - Oakland DUssĆ© Smith: At first, I thought this was a great nail shop does great nails very durable. I got to fight and lost one nail that should tell you how good their nails are good when it came to the pedicure. It was the total opposite. Iāve never had no problems with my toenails having discoloration or anything of that nature for the first time in my twenty five years of living I know have a bacterial infection on my big toe on my right foot because of them I have been to countless of salons and Iāve never had had nothing like this happened before zero out of 10 definitely would never recommend
Nail Today - Oakland B: Best $60 gel mani/pedi I have ever had. Tina on the pedi was especially detailed and took her time making sure everything looked so beautiful. At first I thought this was just because it was a slow Sunday but even after more customers came she continued to be diligent. Unfortunately I forget the name of the lady who did my nails but I was a little indecisive and she was patient and offered a great solution making me very happy with the results. So often I feel rushed or that service is not up to par at other places. I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service and quality for what was an amazing price. I will certainly be coming back!
